Now it is just a matter of what seed we get, if everything goes our way, we could get as high as maybe 7th, but if things don't go our way, we'll be the 12th seed or somewhere in between, but hey--WE'RE IN!!!!!!!!!!

you're right on that one because they may not, we're getting hammered today, of course we are playing the #7 team in America! Thank BC and VT for being so bad to allow us to make the tourney.

Actually in our first year in the ACC we finished 11th. And we haven't yet reached that high water mark again.
It's not progress, it's sustained craptitude.
With UVA leading 15-3 in the 9th tonight and heading for their 12th win, kinda looks like we're settling into the #12 and bottom seed this year. But if we win tomorrow and UVA loses tomorrow, we can achieve that lofty #11 seed again, such dizzying heights!

Kind of a bummer they faded and backed in and probably get swept their last 6. But they were picked dead last this year.
It is a regular happening for Pitt baseball to fade at the end of the season.
This year, assuming we lose to the #7 team in the country tomorrow, we will have lost 8 of our last 9 ACC games after starting 10-11.
In 2017 (last year), we lost 12 of our last 14 ACC games after starting 7-9
In 2016, we lost 9 of our last 11 ACC games after starting 8-9.
In 2015, we lost 9 of our last 12 ACC games after starting 6-12.
Other than knowing that we have been very bad in conference play, we seem to do semi-decently until roughly the back half or so of the season, when we totally collapse.
