Unconfirmed report...

From some reporter in Kentucky that Pitt got a commitment from Devonshire. No other details and no idea if it is accurate.
Please don't start another Devonshire thread since some think they are redundant. 😁😁

but it's not confirmed. anyone can say they have sources if no one asks who they are..

Notre Dame is going to join the ACC officially,, i have sources but wont tell you who they are.
I'm going to go check with a good source.

The Kentucky beat writer tweeted that he was going to Pitt. Will he? We’ll see. I guess the point is it’s not some message board poster stating this.
ok, yes, that is much more valid than me making up stuff about ND. so it is a confirmed report with unnamed sources. I feel like that's different than saying unconfirmed report but i could just be arguing semantics..

It's just that there will always be someone who doesn't believe it, no matter what. If he comes out and says he's going to Pitt, someone will say, "He didn't sign yet." I tend to be in the "wait until there is ample evidence" to believe something, but it is always worth hearing what is going on. A sports writer has a little more believability than a poster, but I would still wait until it is announced to fully believe it. The writer could be completely wrong.

If @Zeldas Open Roof is like me, a "sports writer" can mean a lot of things to a Pitt fan and automatically cause skepticism. In the case of recruiting, we have the blog guy who is wrong often enough that you can't really dig in and use that as a reliable source.
