Volleyball knocks off yet another Top 25 squad

Just when you thought the day couldn't get better, Pitt knocks off #22 Michigan, 3-2.

This is their second top 25 victory (knocked off #25 Colorado State in Santa Barbara, California over Labor Day weekend). They are now 7-1 on the season.

Defense was super tight tonight. Best it's looked in Fisher's reign. It's taken big strides even since the two games I watched last week in Santa Barbara.

Mariah Bell screams 1st Team All-ACC (the same could be argued for Potts and Williams). Bell's blend of service brilliance, dig toughness, and blasts in the kill game hold this thing together. Fisher has found a big time player in each of his 4 classes and it bodes well for the program.

They are now 7-1 on the season.

7-2, not 7-1. They lost to Missouri the first weekend of the season and to Coastal Carolina last night.

3-0 in the ACC and currently sitting at #26 in the RPI. Only losses are to RPI #19 Missouri, #24 WKU, and #27 Coastal Carolina. They should have beaten WKU.
