Pitt was routinely screwed on multiple calls in last part of game and the announcers barely mentioned anything. It was strange.

Capel’s players gave great effort. They very much played until the very end of the shot clock, defensively, on pretty much every possession.

Pitt clearly the deserving side.

The announcers were really bad - they never commented on the close calls at the end, and never really showed much of a replay on the 3-pt foul.

We kind of played like.....well WVU teams under Huggs the past month. Just we have no perimeter shooters at all.

That was the most ridiculous thing. For whatever reason the refs didn't use the normal replay system to review that call, they went over to the announcer's table and used their monitor. And the play by play guy tells us that they are seeing the same replays as the ones that they showed the fans at home. And I'm sitting here saying what do you mean, the ones that you are showing the fans at home? You showed one replay of it that didn't actually show anything, and that was it.

If all the ref had to go by was what they showed us at home it's obvious why the call didn't get changed.

That play is maddening. You lean? Offensive foul!

I said this in the game thread, the NBA told their refs to stop calling fouls on that play, so guys have stopped doing it. I hope that the NCAA tells the college refs the same thing next year. It is not a foul on the defender if the guy on offense intentionally jumps into him. So stop calling it that way.
