Shawan Watson:
After reading everything on Pitt's OC Watson both the good, the bad and the hopeful doubtful. There is no question in my mind Coach Pat Narduzzi and Watson wanted to be together. Watson wants to prove what happen at Texas was an aberration in his career and too much a gentlemen to betray colleagues. OC Watson wants to be at Pitt and be a Teacher as he himself learns the Matt Canada Terminology and work with the Pitt Players. I have no doubt Canada will be available anytime for both Narduzzi and Watson. Canada is still a friend to Coach Pat and the Pitt Players. At the same time, Watson is known to to develop QBs. Still, the best part of Watson is he wants to be at Pitt and stay at Pitt at his age. The time for OC changes is over in my view and Recruiting will be improved from Watson being and remaining in Pittsburgh.
Coach Partridge:
The same goes to Pitt DL Coach Partridge and he too wanted to come back to Pitt after a tough time at FAU and not afraid to talk about it. He is straight forward and honest with Players, Recruits, and Coaches. Coach Partridge did a marvelous job under Walt Harris and Wannstedt and then went on to do even better at Wisconsin and Arkansas. Still, the excitement Coach Partridge could not wait to tweet, and later his statement on him and his family loving to come back to Pitt with the joy to coach in the ACC. Coach Narduzzi was just as delighted and his remarks were full of tickle pink about looking for People that want to come and stay at Pitt in Watson and Partridge.
Athletic Director Search:
This is what the Athletic Director Committee have to figure out and find the right People by knowing the Region and wants to be at Pitt, not because of his career Building like Pederson and Barnes, but wants to be here like Narduzzi, Watson, and now Partridge....and much like Johnny Majors and Jackie Sherrill that later regerted leaving Pitt and called it there biggest mistake in life! Pitt has to get it, go after People that want to come, stay, and retire at Pitt!
Film Room Study:
I remember reading how Aaron Donald waking up after being all night in the Film Room. Last year I read how Coaches had to give up their meals to share with Pitt Canada and Peterman and other Offense Players being in the Film Room after practice and all night long again. The same was described by Partridge said how after late night coaching meeting, he came outside and there was waiting Central Michigan Transfer JJ Watts waiting and asking if he could review film with him. The result great play at Wisconsin and no Three NFL Defensive Players Of the Year, Aaron Donald NFL Defensive Rookie and Player of the year and 3 of 3 All Pros too. Along with Matt Canada Pitt Best Ever & NCAA Top Ten Offense also proves the valuable time Pitt Players are in the classrooms and film rooms and not some Bar or off the field problems that have been absent since Narduzzi arrived.
Come to Pitt and Commit to wanting to be at Pitt and the Right People will always Fit at Pitt! Pitt is attracting them again due to Coach Pat Narduzzi wanting and waiting to come and staying at Pitt! and needs others to do it too!
