Maybe his dream was to complete for and win a National Championship or even a conference Championship.
Ya, that's way more important than getting to the NFL.....
Maybe his dream was to complete for and win a National Championship or even a conference Championship.
This is soooo wrong its laughable. He had 2 tds in 2 games( 10 catches for 130 yards ) before he got hurt......wowFacts are facts.
He was in the Bama starting rotation but wasn't used much at key times in the first three games before being injured in the Old Miss game. He had 10 catches for 116 yards with many of those catches coming later in games that were put away.
So he was in the lineup but not a difference maker or standoutWR.
Now he has to fight his way back in the lineup competing with lots of other younger talent and hope he stays injury free.
Everyone wishes him well but he's atleast two years behind and who know if luck isn't on his side.
He needs two good solid years. Had he come to PITT he would have been off to the NFL now.
He rotated in the starting line-up at WR and played the first 3 games not 2.This is soooo wrong its laughable. He had 2 tds in 2 games( 10 catches for 130 yards ) before he got hurt......wow
He still has a great chance to get to the NFL. He might even be drafted higher than Boyd. We really don't know yet. But the post laughed at "dreams" so how does that not count? That is way, way, way more common of a dream than playing at "your hometown" school.Ya, that's way more important than getting to the NFL.....
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. None.He rotated in the starting line-up at WR and played the first 3 games not 2.
The BAMA site uses the term rotated in as a starter in the first 3 games. So your facts are wrong!
The first 3 games are the "blow out " games so that's where his stats were generated.
So if you take the three game blow out game stats and expand them to a 12 game schedule he ends up with 520 yds for the year? Doubt he would have done better or played more in the tough games.
So there's two questions and we have to answer to one and one is data not available NA.
1. Would he have done better if he selected PITT? Answer: Yes based on where Boyd is going.
2. How will he do at BAMA? Answer: NA ( data not available & the timeline to excel is now shorter)
I'm not picking on the guy just putting the real deal on the table.
He picked a High Risk High Reward place to play!
Decisions, decisions, decisions, they all count in life so make as many good ones as possible! Or not.
Absolutely and they have to. Can't blame them for picking top programs out of the area, though. Heck, some kids just need to get away anyway, so even if CPN gets Pitt close to that level, you still can't get everyone.I don't fault Foster. But I expect the current staff to start keeping more kids like him home.
Education??? Dreams??? Never heard of any WPIAL players say their dreams were to play for Alabama. $$$$$
Lol. He got hurt the 1st quarter in the 3rd game against Ole Miss. Go back to bedHe rotated in the starting line-up at WR and played the first 3 games not 2.

None of us know the future. I hope the young man lives a healthy and happy life wherever he is.I hope Foster overcomes his shoulder injury and has a big year.
I would hope the Boyd Pitt Foster Bama thing comes to an end.
Too bad we have so many douche bags on this board
That's the problem who ever asks those questions. Just questions regarding playing ball. If We win a championship it's all upfront, if someone else does its $$$$. Wow the dignity of college ball starts and stops at the Cathedral, beyond those walls its $$$$. WowEducation??? Dreams??? How can you be so sure he woudln't have got hurt at Pitt?I root for all WPIAL kids to make the NFL and be stars. Foster still might make it, but it's clear, he made thr wrong decision. If he would have went to Pitt, he would be cashing a 6 figure check in a couple weeks. Instead, he has to fight for his job back. He's lost at a minimum 1 year of earning potential, BAD CHOICE!
Or that there would be enough production for both him and Boyd to both thrive after only 3 years and both be high draft picks. Such a stupid argument, which really points out the crazies. How can you be so sure he woudln't have got hurt at Pitt?
Because if he didn't get hurt, he would have been cashing those checks.
Or that there would be enough production for both him and Boyd to both thrive after only 3 years and both be high draft picks. Such a stupid argument, which really points out the crazies.
And Foster did both, and still is coming back to play from an injury, plus Foster has the skills, speed, and size to have an NFL Career. I wanted him at Pitt but he chose Bama just like Sunseri did, and if Pitt wanted Foster too, that is good enough for me to salute Foster and Bama for being good enough to play together.Maybe his dream was to complete for and win a National Championship or even a conference Championship.
