When’s the last time Pitt played a Friday night tourney semi?

It used to be an awesome Friday night tradition with Pitt playing in the Big East semis. Has it been since 2008 or something like that? (Note: when Pitt made the semis in 2014 it was on a Saturday afternoon).

I wanna say probably 2008-2009 when they were in the Big East Tournament playing teams like Louisville with Pitino and Villanova. But it’s been a long time since we have played a Friday night conference tournament game with this much at stake.
