Who you rooting for. Ravens or Chiefs

Can't stand Kelces since they were both on the Cincy team that beat Pitt in 2009 with Brian Kelly. Go 49ers.

Usually, the first team to force Jackson to pass more usually beats Baltimore. They've been winning in spite of that this year because he has gotten out of the pocket more often and used his legs. If KC contains him, it won't be much of a game because he'll get erratic. There's a reason the Steelers give them fits. That's where the answer lies.
Lamar is statistically one of the best pocket passers in the league (https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-pocket-passer-rating-leaders-2023). He is now a great QB in addition to being a great athlete. I think the Ravens maul the Chiefs next week. They have equal offenses and the Ravens defense is significantly better.

Don't really care about the NFL, but I gained a lot of respect for the Harbaughs when Jim attended the March for Life and John quoted the Bible at his press conference on Saturday. So, Ravens it is.
I thought that athletes were supposed to shut up and play.

Ok. I take it back. This makes me hate people If hating this is toxic masculinity then so be it.

Christ almighty what happened to us as a country where we allow this to happen.

It no coincidence that the last steeler championships were won with OL players that required high draft capital, 1st round, etc. And yes I realize that the OL play wasn’t exactly elite the one season. But there’s a direct correlation between winning and OL play.
It was a bizarre pick to not take the two guys that were sitting there when they drafted Friermuth. Ben really needed a competent replacement at center. Was just bizarre to draft a guard who played a few games at Center and hope it worked out. That said, if they would have passed on KP to take Linderbaum, I wouldn't have had a problem with it.

No argument with the stats other than they manage a lot of "chunk" plays. He just really blows up and starts lobbing the ball to places he shouldn't sometimes and I can't really explain it.

I don't know why but it feels like the outrage over the Kelce's is contrived. Not sure where the more famous players in the NFL realm are supposed to exist anymore. We hate guys who brutalize women or don't follow proper social norms but we are also supposed to hate guys who just act like harmless goofs?
Outrage is a bit of an exaggeration. Tired of the fawning over these two? Yup Outraged? Far from it. Theres nothing in sports to be outraged by unless of course your life is so empty that you sob uncontrollably after the game on national TV

Oh and some goofs are likable like Gronk and some not so much like double jab

Kelce pounding beers with no shirt on was kind of funny. Saw a video of him out of the box, and picking up a little bills fan girl and holding her up to say hello to Taylor Swift.. it was pretty good..

Maybe outrage is a bit much but the number of people that seem to worry about them is weird. And yes, even Gronk managed to ruffle feathers and get people worked up.

See, I thought that was hilarious and holding up the little girl was cool. He shared a message this morning that his daughter was saying that, "Dad's boobs are showing!"

I wouldn’t even call it worry about them. It’s more that they are being over exposed. Is that their fault? No. Although they don’t make any effort to play it down (the heart sign was goofy imo). But hey I’ll be the first one to admit I’m closer to being a crotchety old man than perhaps I’d like to admit. Lol

I’m not a fan of most of the color commentators and their constant blabbering like Collins and Herby. Not a fan of all the chick sideline reporters many of whom don’t know whether a football is stuffed or blown up I actually watched the espn broadcast of the natty that just played the sound from the stadium. Lol

So it’s not as big of a deal as many are making it out to be The outrage or worrying seems to be more on the part of folks who react to any opinions that are unfavorable to them

This is a tough one because like most Steeler fans I dislike Harbaugh and the Ravens. But I can’t stomach the chiefs any more with the fawning over Kelce. and his skank GF. What a clown Used to respect Mahomes but after is melt down over the offsides calls he’s annoying too.

So I’m rooting for the Ravens to curb stomp the chiefs and I think they will. The chiefs struggled with a bills team that was missing most of their key players. And of course bad Josh showed up at the end to lend a hand. And what Bills loss wouldn’t include a missed FG

I actually think the Ravens have a shot to win it all. Purdy did not look good in their game against Green Bay And I’m not sure they make it past the lions
Neither. I am rooting for a good game.

I hope the Ravens kick Mahomes/ Kelce and the rest of the "Kingdom" back to Missouri in a hat box. Really just a little tired of all the State Farm commercials, Taylor Swift sightings, Andy Reid and anything else about that team. It's just annoying...nothing more.

If Jalen Hurts doesn't fumble without getting touched that resulted in a cheap TD, maybe there would be a little less "Kingdom" talk and fewer stupid commercials in between play on the field.

Go Ravens.

This is actually a lot tougher than I thought. I obviously look at the Ravens as the Steelers biggest rival, but this isn't the same Ravens team that has guys like Lewis, Suggs, etc. The rivalry is still really good, it just doesn't have the same juice as the days when both teams were loaded with starts that liked to trash talk.

The Chiefs are just annoying for me. Mahomes has gone into that OBJ territory of overexposure and Kelce has always been a clown. On top of that they get cute so often like the ring around the rosy play. Buffalo winning last night would've made this much easier.

lol so what are your pronouns yourpittdance team ?

I wouldn’t go to a swift concert if you paid me. I’m not into over produced music that appeals teenage girls
"What are my pronouns"??? Is that even a real question? If so, it is a dumb one. Just so you know, I am not a fan of her music either. She could be coming to the local mall and I wouldn't care. I just don't get why so many people dislike the girl. She is a very talented singer and entertainer, who has been smart enough to take advantage of her God given skills and is almost a billionaire. (if what I heard on the news is accurate). . You and I don't have to like her or listen to her music, but I don't understand the venom directed at her. Sorry, but I do find what she has done to be very impressive.

As a Steelers fan living in Baltimore area, I always root against the Ravens.

...also love the crying the toxic masculinity set are having over Taylor Swift being at the games.
I love and always support toxic masculinity, but I am not bothered by them showing Taylor Swift the whole game, I get it, it's a ratings thing, if they can grab a few thousand non-football fan Swifties to the broadcast they do it. It's not at all about football.

My dislike of Kelce predates his current dating profile...The guy just seemed like a look-at-me type who tries just too hard to be liked. A phony. Couple that with his presence on 94.72% of all commercials currently running and he just rubs me the wrong way. Similar to Gronk but I feel Gronk is a more genuine character who I like. Just an opinion of Kelce and he may be the greatest guy in the world for all I know..

thank being said, I still like the Chiefs over the Ravens and I'd rather see shots of the 7 that is Taylor Swift in the booth over Ray Lewis...

But it rubs his bank account the right way, you saying you wouldn't take the money and be in all the commercials if they offered it to you?

I think any of these players that figure out how to capitalize on their fame are just gaming the system for all they can while they can and how anyone feels about it is fine. I have to be honest, none of these guys really bother me. Just doing their thing. I am a little jealous that I can't wear the goofiest looking clothes, like Kelce does, and make them look good like he does.

The whole Taylor Swift thing is generally a positive thing where the league is concerned. There are suddenly a lot of girls who know nothing of football that are suddenly interested in seeing her at games. They're always going to follow the money.

If you arent rooting for Taylor Swift, the Kelce's, Pat and Britney, you aren't an American. What a group they got there.

I used to get tired of seeing baker mayfields mug on the boob tube all the time. He hadn’t done anything with the Browns and yet was on all the time

But yeah can’t blame the player or league for capitalizing on their fame. Frankly I’ve never bought anything because someone “famous” endorsed it.

I don't know that anyone does but I'm certain that deep down, there's a psychological side to it. I don't know anything about marketing outside of some obvious basics but it must work because it seems to be the standard for certain products.

Taylor Swift is kind of funny, often they cut to her after a good play and she's dancing as if she had choreographed it all week, maybe it's just force of habit for her.

Mayfield did lead the Browns to their only playoff win in 30 years. I kind of wish the Steelers had dumped Mitch and went after him last year.

browns not signing mayfield might be one of the biggest blunders in all of professional sports.. that team, with that defense, wins the AFC North this year and is set for years..

I'm still baffled, They had Mayfield who's decent, throws for yardage and TDs, with their D and RBs why did they need to sell the farm for Watson?
