Fixing it would have been plenty, and parking would get worse.40 years of neglect -it was a shithole .
The problem is teams are thinning out the box except for the spy basically.
There’s nothing particularly “genius” about Bell’s system. It’s somewhat like Heupel’s. You spread the field and force teams to play one thing, and then you attack the other.
The Veer and shoot traditionally struggles when it can’t attack the other thing because it doesn’t have the talent. When the thinned out box calls for run, but the OL still can’t get a push.
That’s what is happening right now for Holstein and Bell.

Syracuse has 3 DL. A MLB. That’s the box.
There is no genius play calling in terms of that to do here. You take advantage of the thinned out box and run over them. Instead the run goes nowhere.
That’s the problem right now. Teams are thinning out the box, leaving one guy to spy. Dropping everybody else. Daring Pitt to run over them. The OL can’t get any push. Holstein can’t run because of the spy. And so he’s forced to try to find the limited throwing lanes.
And the results haven’t been good offensively the last couple of weeks.
OL just can’t get pushed around by a 3 man front. And a bad one at that.
Hahaha…you would absolutely love what the Butler varsity football program has been doing. A 6A school playing an independent schedule and still getting their teeth kicked in by A and AA schools. What a joke.Man do I hate when teams try to play down like that. Happens in every sport. Everyone wants to play in the least competitive league they can find. I am the exact opposite. I would be embarrassed as hell beating 1A schools like that. So you beat Brentwood? So what. I'd rather lose to NA.
His Instagram still shows committed to Ohio State. His brother goes to Ohio State. I would be really shocked if he change to another school. If he did I would imagine Pitt not a favorite to land him. Only being honest.I heard Vince Bouzakis opened his recruiting again. I know he took a visit here earlier on, is there a chance he might be looking at Pitt again?
