I just saw Pitt freshman WR Lamar Seymore with Pitt WR coach Tiquan Underwood here at the Petersen Events Center. He's pretty impressive physically. Big kid.

The big question is how is team foing to respond?

No one knows - but based on the fight that this team has shown over the last 11 games - I think we will be fine.

This could be a tournament team we will find out soon enough - but it will be all about how we respond to adversity the rest of the season.

Not trying to get too cocky. But Clemson better make some major defensive adjustments against our dribble drive handoffs out of the 5 out. Our spacing is excellent. Burton has tons of space to drive the lane and his guy can’t stop it and there is no help.

Seems like he really took a step back.

Good competitive game, almost a carbon copy of the last 2 except for the result.

Up 8 and in the double bonus, sure wish Burton would have kept the ball in his own hands. He was feeling it to get us to that 8-pt lead. He had to be tired but I sure would have liked our chances better if the ball would have stayed in his hands to make a bucket or get to the foul line.

A couple misses by Cummings hurt down the stretch as well as about 4 FT misses by Hinson with one being on the front end of a one n one.

Santos made the prayer and the end of the half but otherwise he can’t get anything to fall.

Add it all up and that hard fought 8-pt lead disappeared too fast.

You figure when you're up by 7 with 3 minutes left at home you should be able to win the damn game.

Nelly was awful late, his shots missed, his pass to Fede for the slam was terrible.

Was it coaching?

Who knows.

Fun game but I'm super depressed. Now we won't even be ranked on Monday.

Today is the most I have sat and watched Duke this season, but Lively is a non factor. Filipowski is clearly the better option. Does anyone know is he hurt or is he just not as good as his ranking would indicate?

This is very encouraging news. “Appears to be neurologically intact.”

I suspect that they had him under therapeutic hypothermia protocol to decrease brain anoxic injury(cooled his brain to decrease brain death). Lung injury probably from aspiration I would guess.

I am in awe of the outpouring of support for Damar and the Hamlin family. It’s unfortunate that it takes events like this to convey the incredibly positive figures in society like Damar Hamlin.
