-This game today totally sums up the Pat Narduzzi era in a nutshell. 13 penalties(should have been more)

-False start penalties after Timeouts(comical)

-3 defensive offsides in a row

-Poor gameplanning to help our bad Oline

-Lets Clemson go 75 yards in 20 seconds in the final 1:30 of the game

-Pat "HOPING" Reid got a 1st down so he doesn't use his last timeout until another 9 seconds went off the clock

-Poor recruiting in many areas

-AWFUL COACHING IN MANY AREAS

The Pat Narduzzi era needs to END!!

Coaching didn't hold the ball for 3seconds or longer


Coaching didn't drop passes that hit hands


Coaching didn't eff us when the refs were clearing on a screw job cause they hate Duzz


Coaching can help with all the false starts yes

But at some point it's on the players

Duzz messed up the T.O 1000%


He deserves blame as does bell imo prolly more then duzz

But stop with all the duzz hate n coaches trash


I put most the blame on the moment being too big for yarnell n the OL being a mixed bag of vegetables

The Virginia game at home nonetheless. Even with the clemson loss we would be 8-2. Now all bets are off what the final record will be with the two road games. The. BC QB replacement looks like a dual threat QB and they are currently up 21-20 at SMU.Unless we win at least one of the following two looks like Military or Fenway Bowl.

Was that Virginia game. You knew they’d get blown out by Notre Dame this week, and they’re down 28-0. And Pitt just played awful against that mediocre team at home.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but on that 2nd td pass. Fitzsimmons was blatantly tripped by Clemson OL #75. No one else at game seemed to know what I was talking about, and friends I was texting with had no reaction. I do know, Fitz got up and looked at the ref and shook his head.

We still don’t have an opening weekend opponent officially scheduled for August 31,2025. Just a hunch but the ACC genearlly has one or two opening weekend matchups. Of the threee ACC teams they dont have games scheduled yet Stanford is the only team we are scheduked to play.They do have a week zero matchup with Hawaii on for August 23 but nothing scheduled for the following week. If so Pitt will travel out there as designated, Why is it so difficult to get schedule info for football for decades out of Pitt. If it wasnt for fbschedule web site we woulnt get any. Recently it was announced bu Toledo that Pitt would host them in 2030. Lyke asnt too effecient in scheduling in factcwe still have an unnamed FCS opponent for 2025 and nine spotsto fill with ooc schedules by decades end. And that icludes the sacrificing of a home game to playWisconsin in Ireland!

I am convinced in my mind that Narduzzi is in Bell’s ear. One 1st down at the end runs the clock down to kick the winning FG. Never ends with him. We will never win the big game as long as he is coaching. Another lousy coached game and loss. The last 4+ games we have regressed to Narduzzi (Steeler) football, except we are not the Steelers on defense. Maybe the AD can make some changes. Oh, and Indiana is 10-0 with a 1st year coach.

Didn't seem there were the usual number of WVU fans in attendance? Either my eyes deceived me or they were exceptionally quiet. Maybe it was due to the game getting out of hand early.

I don’t care who it is, I just hope a somewhat competent offense shows up tomorrow because it’s been pedestrian at best the last 4 games. Where’s Brandon Taylor when you need him.

The defense definitely isn’t going to pull out a Cuse-like game but I don’t think it will be SMU-like either. They’ll definitely give up their share of points but I think they can limit it enough to make it a winnable game…for a team with a competent offense.

Offensive line has been the biggest problem, not much running room and allowing way too much pressure on the QBs whenever they drop back. Regardless of the pressure, we need some better decision-making from whomever the QB is and maybe some smarter play-calling by Kade Bell as well.

Hoping for the best, we’ll see what happens.

Rally Cry is doing a season tour promoting the NCAA video game and they are stopping in Pittsburgh tomorrow. They are having a ‘celebrity’ game and obviously struck out on the first several choices and landed on me. Come say hello before the game right outside the stadium near the Gold lot.
