Adopt a team for the year

I'll keep an eye on the team, but i need a team that's at least decent to pull for while we're in hell. I can't root for Nits or Hoopies. Duquesne's as bad as Pitt. I pull for RMU, but the NEC? Yuck! I'm thinking I might become a Temple fan for this season. They're a decent program, and I don't feel dirty pulling for them. I always liked them when Chaney was there, and Dunphy seems like a quality guy.
Plus we have a Temple guy on the board. Go Owls!

Will just be following my Predators more. Fortunately, they have had good seasons as the Panthers have been collapsing.

Pitt under Howland and Dixon were games I would watch over hockey... now at the Hockey while following Pitt on my phone.

Pittsburgh area fans also fortunate as there is a Super Bowl level pro team and a champion hockey team to follow more than Pitt hoops

The only pro sport I watch is the NBA. in fact it's the only non Pitt Panthers sport I've watched since having a second kid. This is the sort of year that makes me happy I have it.

Also I've always liked Temple from afar. My dad went there and my wife went to St Joes (despite being a Mennonite!) so we all hate Villanova. Also, and I'll get shit for it, St. Johns. Honestly I enjoy Big East basketball more than ACC, I only watch any ACC games because of Pitt. My family is all east coast except me and coaching even just 8th grade boys Catholic basketball gave me an appreciation for these schools and how basketball focused they are. Mullin was a favorite player when I was a kid too.

St Mary’s is loaded this year and will finally overtake Gonzaga to win the WCC. Have a chance to make some noise in the tournament as well.
