Another Great move by Patrick Gallagher

Definitely not a dig at PSU on our end. Crazy PSU fans will definitely be butt-hurt by this thought, but its a serious issue....especially in rural campuses like State College. Glad to see the three getting together to bring attention to this issue.

It is really all about how all of us respond to a Children Abuse Scandal and to provide future Protections to help it not happen again, and to really support and report it when one thinks it is happening.

Why I stand by Penn State University that made every effort to find out what happen, report what went wrong, be accountable to victims, and place the blame where it belongs, and put in Reforms and Policies to make sure it never happens again!

Cleaning up after any Scandal is a Thankless Job with many Critics more than Supporters!

Don't let a few Cultists change the Divine Nature of Forgiving what happen and that is for every Victim to own in their own way and time, and that is how I see it.

Penn State University has become a Model of Compliance and a Center of Expertise for Children Abuse Counseling and Protection to share in the future. It still has much to find out, adapt and adopt newer policies, and insure vigilance to prevent such crimes but also to help those that were victimized by it in the past, now, and future.

Pitt Alumni have to remember that Pitt Polio Research Team once gave a Vaccine that gave Polio to Children but learned from that error and found a cure for all in the process of learning and sharing mistakes together for a greater good.

All should consider what Penn State has done far more than what happen since it is about present and future benefits to share, teach, and learn for all.

The Court of Public Opinion has judged Joseph Vincent Paterno Legacy as seen in many Articles and that will not change, but the University has done many admirable reaching out to help many Victims not just the ones that happen under the Penn State Football Program Scandal.

Chancellor Gallagher with President Barron are leading the way to think how to respond to tragedy but making sure we all learn and prevent it when we can, Baylor has joined such efforts as well regarding Domestic Gender Abuse.

All they are saying is forgiving is very important for past wrongs, forthright vigilance is important today for a better tomorrow, and ignoring with forgetting is no longer an option for the future.

Again, Pitt Chancellor and Penn State President are showing the proper way to behave towards to one another at the game and anywhere, and hope not hate are different messages, and we should choose the former not latter.

WE ARE & LETS GO PITT & WVU TOO!

Forgive.
But never forget

By coincidence I was in my Protecting God's Children program last night in Columbus.
1 out of 5 women are sexually assaulted by age 20. 1 out of 10 males.
Horrific

This is my point and I am being very considerate and fair to Penn State Fans that mock the Court of Public Opinion and Social Media, Baylor is another example of how the world won't accept Wins over Abuse anymore on anything.

It is a major problem and the only way to address it is a collective effort of all to report it, and then support victims, and to remove anyone that approved or ignored it.

I am not a Joe Paterno Hater and posted i admire many aspects of him and his Family based on his coaching and family values.

What I am pointing out is that PSU can choose to Honor Joe next week, but in the future regardless of all the great things Joe did, the Court of Public Opinion and future Social Media will demand removal some day based on valuing Victim's Voices of Support to enhance more to come out and report and protect Children or Women that happen at Baylor.

It is happening to Bill Cosby right now and reflections of yesterday on people once thought of as Heroes won't prevail to any place of Honor in the future.

Sports Role Models are going to have be very darn perfect no matter how many TD's or Wins they produce. Your Church is making sure victims become Heroes not anyone ignored it.

This is Penn State dilemma right now. They did a Great Job in 2012 Reforms rewarded with reduced Sanctions and Vacated Wins returned, but as more Unsealed Records are released, the more they will be condemned for doing an Honoring while the Society and Media reject it?

I want Penn State, Pitt, and WVU to be good together and return to Top 25 Winning and play each others as much as possible and be proud of all 3 Programs. Banter will happen that is expected at every sporting game but it can be done with fun not hate.
