Definitely taking a subtle advantage of the penn state scandal.
Definitely not a dig at PSU on our end. Crazy PSU fans will definitely be butt-hurt by this thought, but its a serious issue....especially in rural campuses like State College. Glad to see the three getting together to bring attention to this issue.
Forgive. It is really all about how all of us respond to a Children Abuse Scandal and to provide future Protections to help it not happen again, and to really support and report it when one thinks it is happening.
Why I stand by Penn State University that made every effort to find out what happen, report what went wrong, be accountable to victims, and place the blame where it belongs, and put in Reforms and Policies to make sure it never happens again!
Cleaning up after any Scandal is a Thankless Job with many Critics more than Supporters!
Don't let a few Cultists change the Divine Nature of Forgiving what happen and that is for every Victim to own in their own way and time, and that is how I see it.
Penn State University has become a Model of Compliance and a Center of Expertise for Children Abuse Counseling and Protection to share in the future. It still has much to find out, adapt and adopt newer policies, and insure vigilance to prevent such crimes but also to help those that were victimized by it in the past, now, and future.
Pitt Alumni have to remember that Pitt Polio Research Team once gave a Vaccine that gave Polio to Children but learned from that error and found a cure for all in the process of learning and sharing mistakes together for a greater good.
All should consider what Penn State has done far more than what happen since it is about present and future benefits to share, teach, and learn for all.
The Court of Public Opinion has judged Joseph Vincent Paterno Legacy as seen in many Articles and that will not change, but the University has done many admirable reaching out to help many Victims not just the ones that happen under the Penn State Football Program Scandal.
Chancellor Gallagher with President Barron are leading the way to think how to respond to tragedy but making sure we all learn and prevent it when we can, Baylor has joined such efforts as well regarding Domestic Gender Abuse.
All they are saying is forgiving is very important for past wrongs, forthright vigilance is important today for a better tomorrow, and ignoring with forgetting is no longer an option for the future.
Again, Pitt Chancellor and Penn State President are showing the proper way to behave towards to one another at the game and anywhere, and hope not hate are different messages, and we should choose the former not latter.
WE ARE & LETS GO PITT & WVU TOO!
By coincidence I was in my Protecting God's Children program last night in Columbus. It is really all about how all of us respond to a Children Abuse Scandal and to provide future Protections to help it not happen again, and to really support and report it when one thinks it is happening.

This is my point and I am being very considerate and fair to Penn State Fans that mock the Court of Public Opinion and Social Media, Baylor is another example of how the world won't accept Wins over Abuse anymore on anything.By coincidence I was in my Protecting God's Children program last night in Columbus.
1 out of 5 women are sexually assaulted by age 20. 1 out of 10 males.
Horrific
Butt-hurt is probably a bad term to use
Butt hurt describes summer camp at the 2nd Mile in the '70s...
I stand corrected! Thank You! Lets Play On the Grid Iron!Again, bad choice of word
Bingo! You beat me to it. Kind of ironic to assign PSU President Barron to any campaign involving the prevention of sexual assault:Barron must feel bad about big heap of nothing that he did when his star QB at FSU was accused of sexual assault.
