He kicked Saban's ass twice when he was at Ole Miss. He can recruit, and most of the stuff he was doing at Ole Miss is legal now.
calling escorts on a company phone? Pretty sure I would be shown the door right away if I did that with my work phone. May not be "illegal" but certainly improper. Also don't forget some of his episodes while still a high school teacher. Making a student take off her offensive (in his viewpoint) t-shirt in front of him in his office.

I hear Freeze has been politicking behind the scenes for the Auburn job since way back when Harison was fired. It was supposed to be announced Friday, but some last-minute infighting almost derailed things. Hugh was already calling recruits committed at other schools last week.
Auburn is a circus, and it should be interesting to see how things play out over the years with this thin-skinned psycho in charge.
Kind of like Penn State hiring Franklown after his issues at Vanderbilt.
