CFP Predictions

What in the world Steel. You are using last year's rankings to prove your point?

Of course ND got nudged out, they lost to Stanford in the final game on 11/28. Michigan State was included after they won at Ohio State, so of course the rankings changed.

Now, getting back to our discussion, you are saying that OSU would be bumped down from the #2 spot, even if they win out, by a 2-loss BIG Champ. I still don't see it.

-You know what, it doesnt matter and its worthless to talk about. Ill let the season finish out.

The only thing I think that could change that... Lamar Jackson winning the Heisman. I think it would be very appealing to them to have the Heisman Trophy winner in the playoffs. Not saying that will happen, but I think if that's the case The 'Ville might carry more "buzz" than OSU.

Shows what a bunch of BS college football is! LMFAO! That's why just taking every conference champ makes it OBJECTIVE and REAL and not a marketing gimmick. And trying to define the subjectively decided perceived best is more laughable BS!

That links shows todays rankings.

The Rankings last year during this same exact week as today.

1) Clemson
2) Bama
3) Ohio State
4) Notre Dame

Final going into the playoffs

1) Clemson
2) Bama
3) Michigan State
4) OU

-Take Note. 12-1 Ohio State got left out. They disappeared off the map for winning games and closing out the season 12-1 Because Conference Champions jumped them.
LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Talk about opening your mouth and proving you don't have a freaking clue what you are talking about and making it clear you don't follow college football.

Let's educate you, @steel_curtain , Ohio State was 10-0 when Week 12 playoff rankings were released. Guess what happened in Week 12? They lost to Michigan State. The next week they were dropped to #8 and were out of playoff contention. Hahaha. I mean, this is THE dumbest "I'm going to prove a point" post I have ever seen on these boards.

Oh, I'm sure it is worthless, now that it was proven how incredibly off base you were.

What an absolutely monumental fail.

-When Clemson wins out and wins the ACC, they will jump Ohio State. Guaranteed. So that number 2 spot is gone, like a fart in the wind.

Which, pretty much, everyone (especially me) has said. Further, that has no standing on whether 11-1 OSU would get in, which they would, over PSU/Wisconsin. That has nothing to do with how amazingly off base you have been in this thread. Monumentally wrong. Your example could not have been worse.

-According to the 2 ESPN analysts from the video feed yesterday on the espn CFB board, you are dead wrong as they both said the big ten winner should auto jump Ohio state. And they also said if Washington wins out Ohio state is done. So we'll see. Im not further debating this with 3 weeks to play. I'll laugh if OSU loses now just because you made an issue over it.

So, two analysts "from the video feed" said they should get jumped? You just aren't going to quote the other 30+, including Vegas, who say they shouldn't and won't, who clearly do not think they get jumped out of the playoff, if they beat UM?

But, let's be clear, you are the one making it an issue and making it clear you formed your opinion based on incorrect or just a flat out lack of knowledge, which is consistent with the rest of your posting.

OSU is getting in if they win out. OSU has better wins with Okla. and presumably Michigan compared to PSU. Conference champ in unbalanced schedule is not a trump card.

This is going to be interesting. Personally I think OSU is going to beat the living hell out of them.

-Michigan winning would obviously be the best thing and then they lose to Wisconsin. Then the entire Big Ten is out of the playoff. Beating OSU in Columbus with a 2nd string QB is a tall task. Michigan does have a lights out defense, OSU's offense will get shut down. Michigan needs to force turnovers and get a defensive touchdown. I would be stunned if OSU takes it to Michigan, Michigans defense will be looking for blood after last year.

I think chances are if washington and clemson run the table then your probably only getting one b10 team and my guess is if PSU wins the b10 they will take them. Wisconsin wins and I think they take OSU because they have the head to head.

Washington loses a game and its opens the door for the b10(2nd team), louisville and b12 champ in that order.

The fact there are discussions about who should be in points out there is a problem.

Win your conference, your in. Just include all the conferences. End of discussion. Why this is beyond anyone is idiotic.
