Clemson’s LT has done a very good job on Young, so now they are moving him around more on the DL. Very impressed by the LT up to this point. The OSU OL has got the better of Clemson up front so far.

Fair enough. If we look at those rosters and compare draft picks and players we will see that Clemson probably had greater talent than Bama — or at worst equal talent, so I’m not convinced on the surface that Dabo’s coaching was the difference. Was there a major call or adjustment attributed to Dabo that decided the 2017 game? I don’t recall. Perhaps I’m forgetting. I do recall, for instance, Saban’s decision to bench Tua & play Hurts late in the SEC title game vs Georgia being the difference in that victory, so I’m inclined to credit Saban along with Hurts there. Saban can’t win every game, but like Spurrier, he is a true pioneer. Dabo is more of a ‘show up with more talent and win’ type IMO.
You could say they scored too quick. Defense will have to make plays. And OSU has been able to move the ball. Great game.
They've been moving it with tempo, which is what they are going to have to do here.
The 2pt conversion puts pressure on the kicker in the event of an extra point attempt. They had nothing to lose by going for 2 and it was a good call.
That crappy schedule ACC team just put a perennial powerhouse down for the first time this year. Seems they have a habit of doing so, fraud coach and all.
I don’t buy that at all. Game ends with the INT in the endzone with 37 seconds left. What if that instead was a TD for OSU with 37 seconds left. Dabo would have looked pretty stupid in that case if they hadn’t converted that 2-pr conversion and would have been playing that last 37 seconds trying for a FG to tie instead of one to win.
The day worked out just like most predicted. LSU crushing Oklahoma, and OSU, and Clemson in a dogfight.
Dobbins is a stud. Hell of a player. This game was full of top level players who are very good. Clemson did a good job on young.
Their LT (Carman) controlled Young all game. Ironically the kid is from OH. I would bet he is going to be a 1st Round pick when he is eligible.

as an aside would love to see Dobbins in a steeler uniform. Kid is a great back and a class act. He’s probably a top ten pick though
