I don’t see any.
Really, XPs in college FB are far from guaranteed? Yeah, nothing is ever guaranteed but XPs are pretty close. It’s pretty much standard to go for 2 to make it a 6 point game, as extra points are far from guaranteed.
I don’t buy that at all. Game ends with the INT in the endzone with 37 seconds left. What if that instead was a TD for OSU with 37 seconds left. Dabo would have looked pretty stupid in that case if they hadn’t converted that 2-pr conversion and would have been playing that last 37 seconds trying for a FG to tie instead of one to win.

Clemson would have been up by only 4 with the missed 2-pt conversion vs up 5 with a made XP. Had OSU scored a TD with 35-40 seconds left, that would have put them up 3 instead of up only 2. Clemson would have been playing for a FG to tie instead of win.they would have been up 4. They couldn’t get tied with a FG

I guess you could look at it both ways but I’d say the charts are wrong for that case.the chart says go for 2. I’m sure he just looked at the chart and did what it said that late in the game.
Whatever, all I know is OSUs kicker was 83-83 on XPs this year.Wanted to make an Andrew Janocko reference, but even now it’s painful.

Yes it makes some sense in the NFL but not college. Not with that much time left.Yeah but their other kicker is only 2-3!
I’m just telling you that’s why he went for 2 there, it’s pretty much a standard move. It should be automatic to go for 2 there in the NFL, where extra points are much more problematic.
