There are 7 teams with 5 or less conferences losses. Here’s the number of games each has against another team in top 7 which shows how well Pitt is positioned IF they hold serve. I would guess it’s mathematically impossible not to at least get the double bye with 6 losses and perhaps even 7. Pitt has done a lot of the hard work going 5-2 against these teams and now needs to reap the dividends.
