Damon Wilson is plenty smooth

Weak competition, but I agree. Played almost perfectly in the few minutes he played. Plus, 6 rebounds. Dixon HAS to like that.

Dixon gets called a bad recruiter when he fail to land a 4-star recruit he's pursuing, but isn't called a good recruiter when he goes out and finds a guy like Cam Johnson. Identifying talent is as big a part of recruiting as salesmanship is.

I'm all aboard the Wilson-Johnson future backcourt bandwagon. Be nice to have 4 years of it.

I know we were both thinking possibly 5 years of it, but it's pretty clear that Wilson will not redshirt.

Backcourt rotation is going to be a puzzle all year. I just don't see how Milligan and Wilson both get minutes in games that matter. I also think Sterling Smith will fill a role. He at least tries to get rebounds. His shot is so unbelievably flat though.

Flat is a good word for it. Makes you wonder how he hit 43%.

I think smith will start to zero in a bit ...

You can definitely see why they like Wilson.

Cam john has some sneaky skills, but needs a lot of rounding out and just is no longer a guard, hed get killed by 2gs on defense, he just cant move quick enough to keep up w them isolated.

But, he has a chance to be a darn find sf.

If Smith doesn't become a + as a shooter, then I think Wilson and Milligan need to take his minutes.

The offense flowed so much better last night with Wilson on the floor. He was either able to create a shot for himself or force the defense to show, then find the open man for easy baskets. I like James Robinson, but he simply isn't a threat to penetrate, which is absolutely required at this level.

How does milligan look running the court?

OK so far.
He looked calm and under control yesterday.
He didn't really try to force anything, and they were out "running" too much with or without him, the odd breakout.
He definitely looks more like an actual PG than newkirk.
