A long time ago Revenge of the Nerds 3 was a made for TV movie on Fox and Stan Gable became the Dean of Adams College. I like him but Wanny becoming AD is on par with that.

Im pretty sure that you're just labeling someone who likes and has pride in a local person who made a success of himself a "Yinzer". Why is Heather Lyke a better option than DaveW? And I think Heather Lyke is an okay AD, but what has she done of significance in her time here?

He's smart enough to make millions in this industry, I say that he's smart. He'd be a face of the university, someone who is connected to the NFL, coaching circles and television both locally and nationally... You dont see huge value in that?
So you would rather have a former woman's softball player with administrative experience overseeing our sports department than an ex NFL head coach/college coach on not 1, but 2 National Championship teams? The man has connections everywhere. What do you think of that?

We’ve seen how all that experience didn’t help him running a single college program.
He can be an assistant in charge of fundraising-
Using all those connections to improve our athletic donations.
