Pitt called a timeout at 8:04. With the new timing rules this year when a team calls a timeout within 30 seconds of the commercial break they take the commercial break then instead of waiting. The idea was to eliminate some of the situations where there would be a called timeout and then a whistle on the next possession and a commercial break.

I wish the NFL would take a cue. Nothing like a TV timeout, kick off through the back of the end zone and another timeout
