Good fun watching these young kids..............

Based on all of the rejections, I'm not sure there were many viable candidates out there. Sean and Archie's old man did not help with his comments.

I agree only PITT could screw up a golden opportunity to elevate its football and basketball programs when the nitters were facing sanctions. Now they're in a much better position than PITT is with both major revenue sports.

A lot of bad karma out there with the PITT fan base. Hopefully there young kids can stay focused.

Who is blaming the kids?

I mean other than those who ridiculously blamed Luther for missing the go ahead shot against Montana??
I know I pointed out that Luther missed an easy shot.

I know I also pointed out that Henderson's had a very bad fumble.

Both things were true and both those things were a part of why we lost those games.

If that is ridiculously blaming the kids, I guess I am guilty.

I have no idea what this even means, but you sound like one miserable yinzer. I only attack jackwagons like you.

I'd love for it to end and for the incessant, black cloud posters to be shown the door. Sadly, they make up 50% of the posts on here and the good posters won't put them on ignore. Criticism is one thing, there's lots to go around. Either support the young guys or find something better to do that makes you happy and come back when we're hopefully a top 25 program again.

I want to read about Pitt hoops on here and the anti-Stallings stuff every other post makes it impossible.
This isn't North Korea or Russia.

Come on Gary, u just need to consider the source of that comment and can then justifiably just ignore it.

As has been stated endlessly, there were candidates that would have been better fits but Pitt went to Stallings instead.

We have maybe three pretty good young players. If this was the pros, I'd be happy to tank with those guys and send the rest to the G-league or cut them or package them for second round draft picks. But we can't do that, so I don't really like watching this team because the level of hope isn't "compete in the ACC", it's "oh if these guys all really improve we could win 4 games in the conference instead of 0 or 2. Maybe next year we could win 5 games!"

The coach not being likable doesn't help either. Part of why I've had no problems dealing with all the crap of the Sixers tanking rebuild wasn't just the light at the end of the tunnel, it was the fact Brett Brown is a totally enjoyable guy to hear in an interview, and a good teacher to watch in action. Our coach now seems to actively dislike his own players. There is literally nothing to be excited about.

Don't get me started on the needless self-sanctioning and the marijuana suspensions. Who are we, the f'n puritans of Plymouth Rock?? This is D1, these kids aren't here for academics.

The STUDENTS that are here for academics are all smoked up too! Why aren't they suspended from Physics class?
