Hugley to the NBA

Steven Adams is one of the only players who can get away with not being able to shoot a lick and still have a long productive career in the NBA cause he can run and jump like a deer and is 7' tall.
He’s also one of the strongest guys in the league, sets bone crushing picks & doesn’t need the ball to be effective.

Its a ridiculous bet because there's no way to prove offers and you know that. Auburn could offer $100K and he could stay at Pitt because Capel arranged some NIL with a booster or someone. We will never know.
So, let’s bet $1000.
If Hugley transfers if he gets less than 100k , I win. If he gets the same or more , you win.
If he stays and gets $100k at pitt you also win

NIL get reported - I mean it’s Public info. It’s your claim , by the way
Kidsfrom Gonzaga (Timme and Holmgren ) have nil deals and agents

How is a payment from a "non-profit" fanboy booster collective public information? Do you think these booster groups are going to make these deals public?

And uh, yea, the top college players, the ones who are actually marketable have NIL deals AT MARKET VALUE with real companies. What you dont seem to understand is that this off-season is when the boosters can start paying way over market value for these players.

What you actually don’t understand /
Hugley isn’t in that category of player .
Hence it’s easy money for me.
I’ll give you my panther club ID number -
You can make a donation to athletics in my
Name when I collect

Please stop being an idiot. You know booster NIL deals arent public.

I love how SMF can both say nobody will know anything about anyone's NIL deals but then also state with utter certainty about the size of an NIL deal Hugley will receive.

Classic SMF where he makes seven contradictory statements so he's right no matter what!
When it comes to money issues he’s particularly detached feom
Reality .
It’s why I pressed on specifics to make that point .
He of course buckles like a belt

Super secret Double Probation NIL
In other words as usual SMF is making up crap- and when called on it- still can’t admit it

Nope. They are very real and they're the only ones who are going to be able to pay above market since they dont answer to anyone. It would be like if us Lairmen formed an LLC to pool our money together to buy players for Pitt basketball.

As I said, its impossible to know who was offered what by these booster groups.

And yet you’re confident he’s getting 6 figures
So make the bet.

Why would he play in European obscurity for the same amount of money he can make at Kentucky, Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Texas, etc?
Are you sure? Top Euro leagues pay pretty well, into the 7 figures. Plus you don't have to pretend you go to class.

I do
Because your statement isn’t proof
You providing the actual nil from a source wins

So you're asking me to make a bet in which I would have to contact several booster groups to ask them if they offered Hugley money and then expect them to give me an honest answer? Your bet is ridiculous. I am not going to be able to get any information from these groups.

You don't get it because you don't understand the dynamics in college and pro basketball. A player like Hugley may never play in the NBA because his size and lack of athleticism prevents that. However, he very well could be one of the best COLLEGE basketball players in the country, making him worth 6 figures to SEC teams.

We can sit here forever and list elite college players who, if we transplanted to 2022 college basketball would be worth 6 figures to SEC teams. I mean, just Pitt guys:

Chevy Troutman
Ashton Gibbs
Talib Zanna (maybe a 50K guy)

Then look at PG's who are a too unathletic for the NBA but elite college PG's

Knight
Krauser
Fields
etc

The NBA and College Basketball are essentially 2 entirely different sports. A college player like Hugley could be worth a heck of a lot of money to an NCAA team and absolutely nothing to an NBA team

So you're saying the SEC will be the NIL capital for basketball too?

Have you seen Auburn, Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee recently? Those players were bought the old-fashioned illegal way. Now its legal so those and other SEC boosters will be going crazy

Nil is published because it has to be for tax purposes .
Your article only shows collectives pooling funds to work with companies to provide nil-
Not actually shadow secret money .
If you actually would have taken the time to read and understand it

make the bet- or simply decline by admitting you’re wrong

I’m seeing 5 sec teams in the top 25 currently
Like I’m seeing 5 big 10 teams
5 B12 teams
You’re inventing a ton of crap

There is no "secret money."

It works like this:

Auburn boosters pay Hugley $100K. The boosters then shop him to local businesses to try to recoup that $100K. If they don't, it goes down as a "loss" which is the real purpose of these funds, to pay above market deals to attract players

Take the bet then
When you show he got paid you win.
Otherwise time put up or shut up

Lol. You want me to show that a booster group paid or offered him. Stop being an idiot. You know those records will never be made public and even if so, it would be a few years from now that a journalist uncovers it.

Update: my Big John Hoodie came in the mail today. Feels nice. Good quality

Every time I read this subject line, I think of Seinfeld when they resort to bringing their "Jerry" pilot to "NBC".

Maybe Hugley will be playing in the "NBA" next year, but it would most likely be the Nakahama Basketball Association and not the National Basketball Association.

He would not have because he was not a good shooter and even worse from the free throw line.
I was following him very closely. right before he got hurt, he was playing a lot and putting up solid numbers. He had an NBA all star heart, and nba athleticism. nba leadership and passing skills. his shooting was not NBA, but was improving a lot.
