If you're conceding that KP should be the backup QB like Fields was today, that may be a valid argument. For me, I'm just glad the Steelers got out of there with a W. By the way, KP would've played today had he just sucked it up and stayed. Maybe he would've done better and played his way back into a starting job. We'll never know.

There's no evidence that they didn't want him there. There is evidence they may have not wanted him as the starter. He was under contract and there was no indication that he wouldn't be a Steeler this year. Getting rid of Mitch and Mason only reinforce is that.

If your claim is that the Steelers concocted a story that Kenny asked to be traded and that Kenny just went along with it instead of defending himself (like he did with the sitting out thing), that's pretty pathetic by KP. Rudolph is what he is, a good backup QB that won’t embarrass you in the occasional spot start. That’s pretty much how I see Pickett as well.

Kenny chose to go somewhere and rot on the bench instead of staying. And it blew up in his face. He had to fight to not be QB3 in Philly, but he would've started today if he could've just swallowed his pride for a minute.
