LIVE HOOPS ON TV!!

TBT starts this weekend on the ESPN channels. Overseas Elite with Schenley grads Deandre Kane and DJ Kennedy are the favorites.

I think this year with the absence and void of live sports, these games are going to get really good ratings. I am looking forward to them.
That team has mostly been together for the whole thing. Aaron Fogg I think also played with him. Wish a couple of former Pitt players would join.

I wonder which 2 former Pitt players right now would be the best guys to join a team? I don't really know who would still be in shape and good enough.

Teams for Pitt players please.

If only there was a worldwide network connecting people to all sorts of information, one of which could be a place where the organizers of the tournament could do something as basic as provide a list of all the teams and all the players on all those teams.

Alas, we are stuck guessing.

It is always quite amusing when one spends the time asking the question here as opposed to using said worldwide network. But I guess maybe actually looking at the teams requires too much effort.

I didn't feel like looking it up and figured you knew so thanks. Looks like Luther is on the Marshall alumni team. Artis is on Sideline Cancer, which I think is Baltimore-based. McGhee is on Heartfire which on paper, looks very non-descript. Couldn't find GB

It did take me like five whole minutes, so maybe some people aren't able to carve that sort of huge time investment out of their day.
Thanks. I know all you are so busy with all that we can't do because of CoVid. I didn't even know the TBT was happening. Therefore, I didn't look up any rosters. Now I have found them on the World Wide Web. Now please return to your busy life doing nothing.

Yes. I shouldn't have asked a question that requires someone to not be a jerk and may be helpful. I didn't know the TBT was starting and didn't know their were rosters and teams on the WWW.

Gilbert Brown is on Team Hines. They are playing against Sideline Cancer and Artis.

It would have literally taken less time to do a web search for their web site than it does to type a message board post.

If you really want an answer to a question and that answer is readily available information why would you bother asking someone else to tell you and then wait around to see when or if someone will provide you that answer rather than just look it up on your own?

FWIW, Marquette's alumni is playing CP3 right now. Watching DJO reminds me a lot of the battles Pitt used to have with Marquette. They were a lot of fun.

Odd Pitt fact, but Jamie recruited DJO decently. Not enough I suppose but Pitt was involved. Great player. Kind of surprised that he did not stick in the NBA longer.
