However, I am not an utter moron like you and realize that that's simply an IRS designation. Their goal is to generate as much profit as possible so that they can reinvest in their programs and the Olympic sports programs. Football and basketball are every bit as profit-driven as the Steelers and Pirates. The difference is that instead of existing to make their owners money, they exist to fund the Olympic sports programs (and yea, develop student-athletes, yada yada yada).
Football and Basketball are a results business.
