NC State Game Thread - Part One

This is the second ACC game where we had a chance to win on our last possession, and neither time did JC draw up a play to put the ball in the hands of our best scorer. Last time X at least got a decent shot. This time it was an inexplicable, ugly forced attempt. Really frustrating.

Well we put the ball in his hands twice down the stretch -
One time was a turnover

Well he made three shots that weren't threes, and one of them was the end of the shot clock, off balance, falling down flip to the basket that just happened to go in. So in the flow of their offense he made two two pointers.

True. But he's still our top scorer, isn't he? You're telling me if you're the coach, you're not looking first to get him a shot? Maybe my opinion would be different if JC actually drew up a quality play that generated a good look. We didn't see anything remotely like that. That was a garbage possession after a timeout where a decent coach should have been able to draw up something better.
