My god what was that. Like why is the ball in Toney’s hands with the game on the line and not Justin or X. This team is incredibly frustrating. These losses against these middle of the pack to below average teams are really starting to get old.
We never look like a team you’d call well coached. I’ll tell you that.

I’m at the same point now that I was after year two of stallings...let’s see what the recruits/transfers look like for next year. If it’s bad, then it’s Jeff’s prove it or lose it year. He’s shown me nada.

Fact, Capel is not nearly an X and O as Stallings. He was supposed to be a huge recruiting machine, and thats on Stallings level. STALLINGS > CAPEL
Yea it’s no longer an aberration. This is becoming a trend now. You can understand it in year 1 but not year 3. Too much of the exact same stuff every single game.

Yea I’m with you. I like Capel but you can’t continue to fall apart in the 2nd halves of seasons like Pitt has done under Capel. It’s just not good enough.

Stallings would've lost by 30. It's a pandemic year and not making excuses at all but this program was extremely deficient when JC took over.
This is the second ACC game where we had a chance to win on our last possession, and neither time did JC draw up a play to put the ball in the hands of our best scorer. Last time X at least got a decent shot. This time it was an inexplicable, ugly forced attempt. Really frustrating.
We got nothing from baseline drives all night or really all season. I’m simply losing hope that Capel is a major college program tactician.

Well he made three shots that weren't threes, and one of them was the end of the shot clock, off balance, falling down flip to the basket that just happened to go in. So in the flow of their offense he made two two pointers.
