ND/UGa game thread

You mean, like, the entire college football world, coaches, players, networks, analysts etc? That poster?

Honest question-do you know how dumb it is to take the position that SEC football dominance isn’t a real thing, it’s just a narrative ESPN is pushing? Especially by focusing on the results of a couple of bowl games in one season, instead of things like the fact that the SEC has won 16 nattys since 2000.
It's not dumb at all...its a real thing. The SEC only dominated during this recent stretch because the two, and then especially four, team playoff could be manipulated to their advantage. Perfect example was last year when their mass media manipulation campaign ended up having an undefeated conference champion from the ACC excluded from the playoff in favor of two 12-1 SEC (one current and one future) teams.

Does anyone here think that SEC champion Georgia would have been excluded if there was only a 4 team playoff this year despite losing their starting QB?

I like the fact that there is a Final 4 and Alabama and Georgia isn't involved. Paul Finebaum's eyes must be burning in disgust.

It was still dumb. He knows he’s not supposed to be in the area

Having said that I think the ref was a dick. He should have issued a sideline warning
Back when I played, we had a coach (one of the younger guys on the staff) whose entire job for the game was to keep an eye on and patrol the sideline and constantly yell "stay out of the white" and "move back!" On gamedays, he probably uttered those words at least 50 times. He made sure nobody ever stepped foot in the white. If that penalty would have happened to us, this coach would have been fired on the spot. I guess Georgia doesn't have one of those guys?

If you can't see with your own two eyeballs, independently of any perceived media bias, why the SEC has indisputably and consistently been the strongest college football conference top top bottom in the country for at least the past 25 years, I really don't know what to say to you.

I mean, I don't follow or root for a single team in that league, but I can at least acknowledge the obvious.

Eh, I guess we’re all entitled to our own opinion.

#39's foot was 3-4" into the white and unfortunately leaned over a few inches more while the ref was taking his first step or two back onto the white where he had wobbled over into the Georgia side and then got scared by the hit

he reacted like he was intentionally hit and hurt

might change nothing but shoulda been a warning to the kid

and I didn't want a UGA win so no bias
