It's not dumb at all...its a real thing. The SEC only dominated during this recent stretch because the two, and then especially four, team playoff could be manipulated to their advantage. Perfect example was last year when their mass media manipulation campaign ended up having an undefeated conference champion from the ACC excluded from the playoff in favor of two 12-1 SEC (one current and one future) teams.You mean, like, the entire college football world, coaches, players, networks, analysts etc? Honest question-do you know how dumb it is to take the position that SEC football dominance isn’t a real thing, it’s just a narrative ESPN is pushing? Especially by focusing on the results of a couple of bowl games in one season, instead of things like the fact that the SEC has won 16 nattys since 2000.
Does anyone here think that SEC champion Georgia would have been excluded if there was only a 4 team playoff this year despite losing their starting QB?
