One Heck of an ACC home schedule

Didn't we have Duke home last year? Thought they rotated?

You get Louisivlle/Syracuse twice, ever year. Plus you get an additional two schools that you'll play twice a year (Miami and Duke in 2018). You guys will host Duke in 2019 and go to Cameron in 2020.

We need BC and Wake Twice.
SICK of loserville.

In order to gain a win or two, I suppose. And get some confidence....But long-term, seems like it would be more ideal to have tougher opponents. UNC got a 2-seed with 10 losses - and Saint Mary's missed the tournament with a 28-5 record. That tells me that the committee really doesn't care about wins and losses so much as it does with SOS and quality wins.

With a weaker team, I would rather play the sure losses on the road and the possible wins at home.

In time and with a better team, I would like this schedule.
Yeah, this does not shape up well for us. Our home games are 9 of the top 11 ACC teams. Woof. Even on the road, BC, GT, and Wake are probably the only winnable games.

It is the ACC, so it isn't going to be easy, but man do we need to schedule really, really light OOC. Hopefully pull two upsets at home and win 2 of those 3 road games in the ACC. 11-3 OOC and 4-14 in ACC would be a great start for Capel. Obviously the most important thing is recruiting for the future, but we can't go 8-24 (0-18) again.

I think Notre Dame and Louisville could both be winnable home games. Both teams were so-so last year and ND loses 3 of its 4, while UL loses 4 starters. Also, Syracuse still can't shoot... But I agree with the general sentiment, it would be nicer to have the likes of Georgia Tech and Wake Forest at home.

That is certainly true, but a very tall task.

Next year we will shoot it better.
