Then Notre Dame should be shunned and ridiculed like a G5 team from now on. They've proven over and over that they don't belong in the CFP.

As they should, the Cincy result wasn't more embarrassing than what ND does. And Cincy BEAT ND head to head, and any sane person would give the head to head winner the spot in any case of a tie between the two. It shouldn't matter who you deem "best" in a case where you are beaten head to head.

That's (G5 not having a vote) not off the table either.

Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff said Friday night before his league’s title game in Las Vegas that the group was starting to look beyond the current agreement and at the possibility the next iteration of the playoff would not need approval from the so-called Group of Five conferences.

“I think you start by saying, ‘What is the group that needs to agree on a model?’ We can then hopefully invite the rest to join us in. So it’s just a different paradigm about how you think about who gets to make a decision about what the model looks like.”

This year with only 4 teams- The G5 representative was much more competitive than the B1G representative.

I'd prefer conference champions ONLY in the CFP... The conference championships become "play in" games..

and I'd say tough tindly-winks to ND and the independents
