Honestly, nobody that was in a position to take him had a good season. It was him or Todd Gurley.
Owners and GMs are refusing to invest heavily in RBs, football these days tell you to avoid this. Even Jerry Jones is talking openly that the cowboys don’t need zeke to win.
no, not doing that. i still personally see a lot of value in a good RB but im old school, i still like fullbacks and running out of the I formation too.
I don't disagree. I think Jones doesn't want to pay what Zeke wants more than anything and I personally don't blame him. I also don't blame Elliot for wanting paid.
Yep, I get both sides. Backs probably have the shortest shelf life so I get it. For some weird reason, the game seems to be moving away from a truly valued one back system.
You can win cheaper and more often with two mediocre backs over one really really good one. It doesn’t make sense but it’s true.
The best thing about Bell is he will struggle to get a 1000 yards this year. His running style does not lend itself to a typical line like the Jets have. There are maybe 3 or 4 OL's that can hold their blocks long enough for Bell's style to work.
