We know Narduzzi is a lousy coach. Mike Tomlin is the coach who does the least with great talent.

His team's are undisciplined, lack football iq, and love to chest bump when they just do their job such a normal special teams tackle.

What burns me most is how the post gazette and other Pittsburgh media will never call him out. There is a reason that Tomlin is Bill Belichick's #$% . Only Bradshaw has the integrity to call it out.

Guess why the won't call him out?

Lol! It's not hard to figure that one out!

He could go 0 and something and they might start to think about it. Lol !

You think coaching was the cause of 6 turnovers?

They were up 14 with 8 minutes to play.

You’re being silly

How often do the Patriot have 6 turnover games? Look at the Patriots turnover rate. It's coaching and selecting the right players. Smart players don't make that many mistakes.

Did he turn the ball over 6 times today compared to one from Cleveland?

Turnovers are not independent of coaching. If you think that, then you are happy with the player's coach such as Tomlin.

Well coached teams don't make that many mistakes. Undisciplined teams do. It's that simple.

Oh get over it. Conner fumbled away 6. Coaching? Bens 5 picks. coaching? Undisciplined? Assertions are not facts.

Just accept that teams that are turnover prone (look at Ben's play), commit penalties thanks to poor technique and lack football iq don't win Superbowls. That's a Mike Tomlin team to a T.

This board of full of people who love to get down on their knees and service the Steelers.

Maybe Ramsey (Cb from Jacksonville) was telling the truth.

His record vs horrible teams is abysmal. Penalties and TO's certainly indicate a sloppy, careless team. Blaming this on Tomlin might be a bit much but if you look at his body of work, it becomes a legit question. More focus on the game instead of celebrations.

Can you imagine if Tomlin had a bad or avg QB , like Ben played today, all year long , he wouldn't sniff the playoffs ever. Duzz could have won with the Steelers as much as Tomlin

Well in all honesty, if it wasn’t for Conner’s fumble this was a W.

Tough weekend for us.

It should never have come down to that.
Ben's int in the 1st half is an example of an undisciplined play.
The number of penalties that stalled drives is another example.
The decision to punt on 4th and 6 when we were up by 14 at the Cleveland 34.

That's just a sample. Steeler football is not smart football.

Tomlin is untouchable to a segment here.

Right on cue.
You want to blame coaching decisions on him-
That’s fine with me
Ben directly causing 4 turnovers isn’t a coach issue
James having a pass go throw his hands for an int isn’t coaching

Conner failing to secure the ball in the 4th isn’t coaching

It’s a pretty simple concept.

I think its consistent enough that its tomlin or Ben. Ben has 1 or 2 WTF games every single season. One strike on tomlin for this game is ben always sucks when he has had a lot of time off. They should have played him a lot more in the preseason. Brady played basically 1 1/4 games in the preseason, Ben played 1/4. This from a QB who has a looooonnnnnnnggggggggg history of stinking it up when rusty.

Actually it eventually all falls on the HC no matter the issue. Was our punter being unable to catch a ball PN fault? NO but eventually it doesn't matter why, its about results. If a HC recruits all 5 star recruits and they all fail for different reason's it doesn't matter that it wasn't the HC fault.
Tomlin mostly gets a pass because his teams have won. Not enough in the playoff's for some and I do believe some of the issues are valid.

Big Ben is merely an average qb away from Heinz Field. It had zero to do with how many preseason games he played. He missed on several throws today not including his turnovers.

Most teams lose games in which they have 6 turnovers and over 100 yards in penalties. The Steeler defense dominated Cleveland today.

Two possessions in the fourth quarter when up 14 were killed by a Gilbert penalty on a Conner nine-yard run that could have burned time and then James’ fumble on the next possession. Tomlin’s teams are undisciplined but those mistakes fall on the players.

Anyone who claims Pittsburgh's tie today had to do with coaching knows little about football. You can have the plays drawn up perfectly at some point players must execute. You don't expect your Hall of Fame qb to come up short, there is no contingency plan for that.

Two questions.
Who should take over for Tomlin?
How long will it take for the new coach to become overrated?

TOs are a lack of discipline and preparation
So are penalties.
So is blowing a 2 TD lead to the garbage Browns

Tomlin team too often display both which with maybe the most talented team in football, his playoff record since the last SB they blew is not very impressive.

You can’t jump on here fast enough to defend him no matter what.
Lol

It is ridiculous to blame the tie on Conner’s fumble. The guy played a very good game overall.
And the way things were going no fumble probably just means ben throws a pick 6 the next play.

That made it 21-14 and you’re getting the ball back, how bout you go score? Maybe don’t give up another td after that? Or even once the game is tied finally get it together and go get a score? Aside from the TD over sutton’s head (made up for with a clutch INT later), most can be attributed to ben sailing balls into the stands (or opponent’s hands) all day.

Pittsburgh it seems does not look prepared for games against teams they should handle easily, or big playoff games.
Been going on for more than a short time now.

A Conner fumble and a strip sack are discipline issues?

Brilliant

There are two kinds of disicipline issues on the practice and playing field and after hours problems.
In the case of the Steelers and Tomlin its on the field discipline issues that hurts the team.
When you see penalty after penalty especially to many men on the field type penalties, missed assignments, fumbles, interceptions, that points to discipline issues/practice issues/getting the team ready to play issues which is on the coaching staff.
Recievers not running the right routes, missed key blocks, blown coverages on D, etc. Year after year thats what you see when you watch Tomlins Steelers!
A famous, very wealthy, and successful person once said details matter and they do!

"it's five o'clock somewhere"

Go PITT & CSU Rams!

Yeah, Belichick must have lost control of the Pats, seeing as how Brady fumbled with the entire season on the line last February.
TOs and penalties to that degree are a lack of discipline
That is on the HC
So is folding like a tent to a garbage team in Qtr 4

The End

How often do the Patriot have 6 turnover games? Look at the Patriots turnover rate. It's coaching and selecting the right players. Smart players don't make that many mistakes.
Overheard at Foxboro training facilities...."listen up Pukes....don't fumble the damn ball!...Brady, please, I implore you, do not throw interceptions.. What we will not do is run those damn pass plays where the ball is throw right into Gronk's hands and he drops it for an int. Dammit, you guys I was up all night last night watching that Pittsburgh film and I cannot believe they would attempt that ball into the hands of a wide open tight end play to become an int"

Now, sports fans, that is how you coach.

How bad are the browns that they can have a +6 on the turnover margin and still not win. That’s almost impossible.
