Not trying to be a smartass, but do we seriously think for one second this is unique to PSU? Unfortunately this stuff happens everywhere. To single out PSU for this is a fool's game, this is not a Sandusky situation which all criticism was warranted.

Yes unfortunately it happens everywhere but around the Pittsburgh area it doesn't get major news coverage. Also the main word that was used is investigating meaning it will be swept under the rug. Most rural college criminal activity goes unreported or it never gets major news coverage.

If it goes unreported, how do you know it happened? Crime stats are based on incidents that are reported.

Do you honestly believe urban campus are reported better? You think it is not buried in Columbus? Miami? Austin? LA? It is all about the relationship the school has with local police/media.

We May have different definitions of unreported. I am taking it to mean unreported to the police, not unreported in the media.

East Halls has a bigger population than Sewickly. There are more undergrads at PSU than the population of most communities in PA. Stands to reason that you’re going to have some creeps mixed in.

So because PITT lost a game it was supposed to win we fall back on another ped state problem. It happens on college campus' everywhere. When their football team gets back to it they will take care of business and be talked about nationally. Right is right and wrong is wrong there is no justice in sweeping crimes underneath rugs. Especially rapes, child molestation etc. This is not about football but to some life goes on which is truly pathetic.

Every year there is an absolute horrible story out of psu. Really... there is. It doesnt happen at other universities like it does there. It is a cesspool
