I’m sure a 35 year old 2 time stroke survivor with a big contract has an immense trade value. What do you think he could bring in return?
I have heard Buffalo offered Owen Power and Tage Thompson but Mario stepped in and nixed the trade.
I don’t think you’re totally wrong, especially previously. But as for now, I don’t doubt he might still hold some influence here and there, but I don’t believe he’s pulling the strings any longer.

He's clearly not making any real decisions any more. I mean they brought back those uniforms that he absolutely hates this year for their throwbacks. There is no way that happens if he had any say at all in it.
He has very minor ownership stake. I mean this is the Fenway Sports Group. They are big time. This isn't some hilljack fanboy from Canada who bought the team from the Lemieux group and still allowing him to dictate policy.
