Well in about a half dozen key situations steelers couldn't make a play and committed key mistakes... That's what shit teams do
There were pros and cons to that decision but you have blinders on to say it had no impact. When NO needed a TD and not just a FG to win, and NO not really moving the ball with ease, big difference between having them only have to go 50 yds instead of 80-90 yards.
It's not like Samuels is much better. Just look at the missed blocks. They miss Connor and/or Bell.
We just lost to the Super Bowl Champs at their place. Losing to teams like Oakland are the far worse crime.

Ridley should never have been in there that’s coaching. Game should have been over. They tried to milk the clock and should have kept the pedal to the metal. That’s coaching

No numbers out yet, I expect the Ravens to be in the -6 range. Browns have won 5 out of 6 and definitely have a chance. Their defense is decent and the Ravens are underwhelming offensively.

The Steelers don’t have any leaders player wise, no Joe Greene, no Rod Woodson, no Jerome Bettis, no Hines Ward. That a back up WR is the one on the sidelines putting his arm around JuJu is telling.
Also the Steelers won 6 Super Bowls with a DT who drew double teams which opened things up for the ends and linebackers, they never really sniffed a Super Bowl after Joe Greene retired and same goes since Casey Hampton retired.

Tomlin has never had a losing record. He isn’t going anywhere, and nor should he.
Nah, but if this year and next are non playoff seasons there will be some pressure on him heading into 2020.

There’s always a surprise or 2 on the coaching carousel so anything’s possible - but I wouldn’t bet a dime on him being fired.

Yeah the talk of tomlin getting fired is silly.
However if he keeps Butler and the horrible defensive staff his Fate will be sealed in two years.

Real easy to say that for you. Not so easy for me considering that, even with the short field, they still needed a real close PI call on 4th down to keep that drive alive to get the TD. Plus 1 or 2 holding penalties that also set them back. More opportunities for FUps on their part with the long field.
And that changes on a longer field how? The best chance to win was keeping possession of the ball. The fake punt attempt just came up a little short
This was the turning point. Two opportunities to stop them from gaining 20 yards and you give up 25. You lose every single time after that.
Coaching as well. You bring pressure and make Brees get rid of the ball quick.
Not only will Tomlin be back (and he should), but I expect Fichtner, Butler, and Colbert to be back. I doubt the Rooney's will make any changes.
