I am surprised that no one has mentioned That Dirty Black Bag. It was originally shown on AMC+ last year, but now available on AMC Network and On Demand. I just saw the 1st Episode, as the Trailer looked great, and could end up being my Favorite Western Series. It stars the same Dude, who played the Title Role of the past AMC Series, Preacher, and so far he is good as the Sheriff in this Series.
I also see that Gangs Of London, now is making their 2nd Season available on AMC+ and also just showed for free the 1st Episode of the 2nd Season On Demand on AMC. The First Season was on AMC, and is the Best Gang Series I had seen based on that First Season. It is the Most Violent TV Series, that I have seen on TV(and including any Movies in this Genre), but the Violence is Cartoonish in a Tarantino Style, as over the top at times. It was sad losing the Sean Wallace Character at the end of the 1st Season, as he was awesome, but based on the 1st Episode of the 2nd Season, looks like a few others will fill that void in Gangland..
It is a shame that AMC and the person in charge of their TV Series programming has already removed a few Series that were originally green lighted for 2023, including a 2nd Season for 61st Street, although looks like they are sticking with Dark Winds for a 2nd Season, as it is based on a Series of 18 Books about Leaphorn and Chee, so plenty of material to mine for several seasons. I thought Interview with a Vampire was great, although only 7 episodes, and hope it gets another season. Still assessing how much I like The Mayfair Witches(also based on Anne Rice Books).
AMC Head Executive(or whatever his Title is) seems to rather give us 3 Spinoffs from TWD, with separate series for Maggie/Negan( in NYC), Daryl(in France) and Rick/Michone, and sacrifice development of other New Series. They do have Lucky Hank starring Bob Odenkirk starting in March.
AMC seems to have needed to reduce their New TV Series by 50%, and guessing it is because they are not getting many subscribers for AMC+, as competition among Streaming Services means not every one of them will survive(or AMC+ can only survive by reducing their output of New Series). It is ashame though, as AMC has put out several Good TV Series in recent years.
I can see now though why Vince Gilligan decided to sign with Apple+ to develop his next TV Series now that he has finished Better Call Saul. I am hoping in a few years that he decides to do a Series on the Backstory of Gus Fring, as he started out in Chile then made his way to Albuquerque as The Chicken Man/Meth Businessman(beyond what was shown briefly on a few episodes of Breaking Bad), as I recall he was deciding between Saul and Gus originally as the Prequel to Breaking Bad, and decided to do the Series focused on Saul(Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman Backstory, and future scenes with Gene, as his New Identity Post Breaking Bad).
I was a little disappointed with the end of Better Call Saul, as was hoping for a more devastating ending like Kim and/or Gene being killed. The deaths of Nacho, Howard and Lalo were awesome though. Tony Dalton was awesome as Lalo in BCS. Too bad he was not around for Breaking Bad, although I recall Saul asking Walt, if Lalo sent him in one episode of Breaking Bad early on with the introduction of Saul , so I was wondering if Lalo was going to survive in BCS.
