Both have offenses decimated by either injuries or graduation. Both have a ton of false starts, trouble moving the ball, and tremendous defenses that get after the QB.

Liked watching both teams this year. Especially on defense. Or especially due to the defenses and gritty QBs

Yeah except there aren’t many browns fans masquerading as Steelers fans trying to get Tomlin canned. Just probably some of the same people here

Or maybe.......

The steelers 7-5 is as impressive as almost any story in the league,

While the Panthers 7-5 is yet another shining example of ineptitude, apathy, mediocrity and piss poor performance?

I mean, it cant be anything else no matter what the narduzzi / pickett washers may think.

Consider also that 4 of the 5 Steeler losses came at the hands of Baltimore, Seattle, San Francisco, and New England, 4 of the best 5 teams in the league, and that all of them except for New England came down to the wire.

Yeah and you wonder what this team is with Ben. I think they win at least two of Seattle, SF, and Baltimore.

I don't watch the Steelers or keep tabs on them, but it seems that their 7-5 came after a dismal start to the season, correct? So their record has improved over the course of the season, while Pitt's has been going into the toilet after what looked like a strong start. Of course, Pitt's beginning of the year record was slightly skewed by games against the Little Sisters of the Poor...twice....which we barely beat. That's pretty pathetic.

Let's be real. Pitt offense has not been as "decimated" as the Steelers. Not close.

yeah, except 7-5 for the steelers means a probable playoff birth and 7-5 for Pitt means nothing but another schitty year......

Right, the Steelers started 1-4 and are now 7-5, while Pitt started 5-2 and finished 7-5. Improvement versus regression.

Next question would be which coach has their team playing better now!

A bad start with a strong finish is a sign of success.
A good football process is in place.

A good start with a bad finish is a sign of failure.
The football process in place isn't working.
This is an indication that the good start could have just happenstance, not competence.

For those in Pittsburgh the city Happenstance = coincidence.
