You worked hard to get that random russian reference to fly. Where were you headed with that? The Russians are so much better than we at espionage.
Now more than ever, when a young man with the academic achievement and talent to play football at the Division 1 level elects to play at any service academy they should be commended. Congrats! That’s the ultimate commitment! My friend's kid signed with Air Force today.
He has an older sister who played D1 basketball. She had an Air Force offer that she didn't even investigate, and now is regretting not at least considering it, based on the information he's received so far.U-S-A-F-A AIRRRRRR FORCE...FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
Congratulations. It's truly an honor for him and his family and I wish him all the best. I had offers from all three academies as well. He will make connections and friendships that will last for a lifetime. I had a chance to talk on the phone with my old roommate in December and I got to sit with a teammate and talk for a while a couple of weeks later. Caught up on a lot of people and what they're doing now. Kind of terrifying that these guys are now senior officers because I know how screwy they are but they are all good people who have had interesting careers.
I encourage you to travel out for a game if you are able. The pregame alone is incredible and Coach Calhoun is doing an incredible job with the program.

She did get her degree from Liberty, and was a grad transfer to East Carolina, so she got her undergrad and master's paid for, but she really likes the opportunities her brother will have.
