The rest of America trying to figure out what the hell that was...probably thought they were having an aneurysm.
It’s just absolutely awful. Jimmy Krenn was funny back in the day with Stanley P Kachowski. But this guy stinks out loud. I honestly can’t believe anyone finds that even remotely funny/entertaining.
That was bad. His shelf life expired years ago. Also if that was the topic you are going to run, then do it after the first break of the game. Not in the 2nd half. Who believes a person doesn't know who they are watching after a half of football.
The problem was it lasted easily a minute. Like how many lame jokes did he tell. It was someone bombing at stand up comedy. It was painful

Pgh Dad with a sideline reporter at a Pitt game was like Dennis Miller on MNF. Whoever thought that up should be fired.
There was a time when his Yahoo videos were funny. But, he became unbearably repetitive a few years ago. Trying to ad lib something like he did tonight was absolutely embarrassing. The city should sue him to make him remove Pittsburgh from his name.

When he first came on the scene he was funny. But an act like that goes old quick. He overstayed his self life.
No personal attack against him, he found a way to make money and is capitalizing on it. But the act is old and not sure how he got as many miles on it as he did.
Pittsburgh Dad is a good product, but he also has the benefit of writing content and then shooting and editing all of the videos. Putting him live on a broadcast and expecting him to be funny was a terrible decision by all involved.
His short videos are pretty funny but that bit last night was awful. Especially since 99% of the viewing audience has no idea who he is.
The rest of America... Metro Pittsburgh cannot produce 40,000 to show up but the rest of America is tuned in and confused..That's cute...

Exactly this. So many people try to recreate (copy?) what Krenn was doing 30 years ago, and none of it works.

It’s definitely the difference between planning an editing a skit for YouTube vs stand up comedy and stand up isn’t his thing... but when he’s given time etc he’s usually pretty funny

I'm wondering if the sideline reporter is taking stock in her career this morning. She looked uncomfortable. We all get the "Yinzer" stereotype but that guy isn't the identity I want associated with Pitt's football program.
That entire segment past the first 3 seconds was just painful to watch.
Upset that he TOLD THE TRUTH. Personally I TOTALLY LOVE THAT PITT TICKETS ARE SO CHEAP AND AVAILABLE! I'm not dumb enough to root for something I might buy to cost more or be hard to get.
That's what's GREAT about it! I love explaining to people EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD EXACTLY what Pittsburgh is like! JUST LIKE Pittsburgh Dad
LOLAs someone else said, it should have been done early in the game and the reporter should have said something like she found this guy that thought he was going to the Steeler game.
Not sure if true but was told Pittsburgh Dad is a HUGE WVU fan. Hates both Pitt and PSU.

I really like his shows skits - he gets into some of the more subtle nuances of yinzerness and growing up here. They are good
Not sure what the deal was last night - he must have had some agreement to go on and probably thought it would be good publicity. But he was pretty bad trying to do it live. Kurt trying to be his character on a live interview didn’t really work

Thank you. God bless him, but he was so bad and he kept going and going and I was just like, ”For the love of God, someone please pull the plug on this poor fella already.”
His Pittsburghese schtick has indeed run its course. It was a smidge charming at first, now it just kind of grates on your ears like a pulsating car alarm that no one seems to be able to shut off.

There’s only so much yinzer humor. It runs out quickly.
Finally rewatched the game last night. All that interview did was perpetuate the notion that Pittsburgher's could care less about PITT. And it wasn't funny.

Maybe it is but we have enough of our own fans as critics and little to no support from casual fans. We certainly don't need anyone spouting off about the Stillers - IN THE MIDDLE OF A TELEVISED PITT GAME. It was inappropriate and not funny to boot.
