Screw Goodell the fix was in

The NFL has been favoring the Patriots since Goodall has been around. Gronk gets one game for blatantly targeting a player after the play is over and gets one game.

The NFL lacks basic common sense. I hope the players strike and strike for a long long time.and these owners with 1 foot in the grave gotta go too.

Google Calvin Johnson rule

They had to have indespitibel video evidence the ball touched the ground. There was none. I know he Calvin Johnson rule. That’s NOT the question here. The question was does the video clearly show the ball tocujed the ground. His hand was under the balll even though it moved

The game is no longer recognizable. If you secure the ball, have both knees and an elbow touch the ground and then break the plane of the goal line and yet some how find a way to call a pass incomplete...I just don't know what to say.
The ball moved when he brought it down to touch it down inside the end zone. If he had been touched, it would have been a completion down at the one. How can not being touched make it incomplete? That makes no sense.

Such a bullshit call. No way you can over turn that call he had hand under the ball

What bunch of crap
His knee was down...didn't apparently looked at that....did not have his hand under the ball- sorry!! The Sodomizer.....lost the game!!!!

google the Dez Bryant catch being overturned, which gave Green Bay the win over Dallas. Cant believe some of you football fans have forgotten that

The call was correct, it’s just a stupid rule that should be changed.
No it isn’t. Please post the rule. He had complete control when he crossed the goal line. Once over the ball is dead. He had enough control with both hands to put it across the goal line so that should be enough with control.

I forgot who on here said it I think it was Pitt79 but not sure. But replay should be run at full speed no slow motion and one at most 2 views then that is it. This is so insane. How that gets overturned is besides me

That catch was made, once he broke the plain of the goal line it was six. The follow through doesn't mean anything. Once the nose of football broke the plain, touchdown. Kraft and Goodell are buddies, plain and simple.

Right - I think we hear an apology tonight (not that it means anything)

Don't forget the fact that he made a football move.

What are all you people going to say when no one, not even the Steelers seriously question whether the call was correct or not?

His knee was down but noone from New England touched him.
In the NFL you have to be touched by an opponent to be down. In college the knee down counts!
If you dont know the NFL rules dont comment little man.

A knee down should complete the catch but not the play. How hard is that for you to understand.

Goodall and Kraft have been in bed for years. The NFL in their hurt ratings bc of all their stupid kneeling and lack of common sense are trying to make sure NE is in the super bowl in my opinion. This is why I just don’t follow the league like I used to.

But if he’s a rb, the play is dead as soon as he breaks the plane of the goalline and it’s a td. Not sure i get when the wr turns into a player running with the ball.

Do you really think New England being in the Super Bowl every year HELPS ratings?

I agree!
The knee can be down but if noone from NE touches him its a TD unless he didnt complete the catch.
Numbnuts suggested the play was dead since his knee was down which isnt the case in the NFL!

The suggestion wasn't that the play was dead when both knees and an elbow touched the ground, rather that the "catch had been completed" with full control of the ball. If anything, say he "fumbled" as he broke the goal line and then "recovered" the fumble.

For the NFL to interpret that play and their own rules as an incomplete pass defies basic common sense.
