EXACTLY what I was thinking last night during the game.
Bold chess move by HCJC if this turns out to be true and results in Wahab committing to Pitt.
Walker doesn't even start on his team. Kid was a reach for Miami, glad he isn't a Panther. Wahab is a whole nother matter though - the perfect fit here IMO.
He'd play a lot more here then there.
He will play some, but someone out of the 4 centers will barely play, and I'll bet you we see one center from Gtown transfer.
I was being a bit facetious, out of emotion.
Coaches are not above telling a guy he will start or play starters minutes and then not following through--lots of smoke blown in the recruiting game. However, in this case he can be 100% assured of minutes here but likely not necessarily so at Georgetown due to the competition. To be fair Wahab is more highly star rated than the other two centers Geogetown has signed this year both 3-stars. On the current roster they also have a 7 footer from Turkey (NCState transfer) and a 6-10 starting Center (but he is graduating senior).
It could be pitt over someone else other than GTown. Vader better check the pay board. Maybe Dokish has as well. Go pay board! Go Peak!
Which is why I think it’s funny the OP is lauding Vader for basically saying, “it could be Pitt or it could be Georgetown or it could be two other teams.”

Omer Yurtseven will be starting at the 5 for Georgetown. That should be pretty clear to everyone. No way would Wahab start at Gtown next year.
Exactly. Didn't we lose Heron after he verballed to Pitt and signed with Auburn? I don't believe anything, especially from some kid, until he signs his LOI. In blood. Even if he says he's coming to Pitt, Wahab may or may not end up here. Him verballing means very little.
College football recruits enjoy the heck out of sitting the bench a few years instead of playing early at a place where there is a need. College basketball players are smarter than this but perhaps Wahab would rather sit behind Yurtseven?
I'll bet its the same exact georgetown insider source I mentioned last night on this board where the source said he doesnt think Wahab to gtown. And I said take the information as fwiw and as is. Vader hasnt posted anything in over a week. He hasnt had the chance to flip flop a million times. Honestly dont care. If wahab chooses another school its all for nothing and move on to the next one. Vader was the perfect name. Hes like a cross between good and evil in the movie and people like him or hate him on this board. Its actually funny and fitting at the same time
This isnt college football recruiting. Decommitments (unless a coach leaves) are very rare in hoops

They're more rare in hoops because there are less total players recruited per team in hoops. Percentage wise, I suspect it's a lot higher in hoops than in football. In hoops, it happens often.

Maybe, just maybe, Vader hasn't posted anything in over a week because you haven't bothered to log out of your X2 account and log back in to your Vader account
When did Vader say Wahab would chose Pitt? I've only seen him say it's a two team race between us and GTown
If it's the second one we've got a lot more to worry about than what recruits are or are not coming to Pitt!
