Well the question that immediately comes to mind, will the PPG’s Meyer bother to retweet this tidbit same as the others damning Pitt’s pitfalls.
I said to my wife how much I would love to go see Pitt play. She shocked me and said "let's go!"
Yes, let us trumpet this from the rooftops!!
16 years March 17 Pitt (29-5) beat Cal 63 - 50 in Pittsburgh to advance to our first Sweet 16 in the golden age of Pitt basketball. I can remember sitting down to dinner after the game incredibly fired up. I said to my wife how much I would love to go see Pitt play. She shocked me and said "let's go!" Dropped my fork, went to to computer and bought two tickets. That was an incredible time. Even though it didn't work out for Pitt, we had a tremendous time and it started an incredible chapter of Big East tourneys and season tickets and OT thrillers and number 1 and top seed rankings.
Here's hoping we take the first step towards returning to that this Wed.
If being a Cal fan "really sucks", does that mean that being a Pitt fan "just sucks?"
That's just depressing. We are worse than James F'in Madison. And Lehigh. And I don't even know what FIU stands for, but it does have an F-U in it, so that's appropriate. Thank goodness we are better than Louisiana-Monroe though, I wouldn't be able to show my face around town if we were worse than them!If being a Cal fan "really sucks", does that mean that being a Pitt fan "just sucks?"
