SB9 was kind of a dog too. But at least had a safety and blocked punt TD. And that cool play where LC batted the pass back to Tarkington and he threw another one complete (I think it was illegal though). And when "our team"wins it seems better.

Super Bowl 5 was a turnoverfest but an exciting game to watch. This one not so much.
The key for maximum enjoyment is to watch the game for what it is.
This one featured defense,great punts,
coaching strategy geared to avoid the big mistake.

I'm more interested in a 2-1 pitchers dual than an 11-9 slugfest
I know some people like really high scoring, others like defense. While some games like 56-49 are too extreme, and you wonder if anyone can play D? But this one 3-3 going into the 4th quarter, had too little going on. Too much punting and defense. the 3-0 halftime score was the lowest since Steelers 2 Vikings 0.
This is the worst Super Bowl I've watched. The game was bad and really didn't have any exciting plays. I appreciate good defense, but there was just as much bad offense as there was good defense in this game. Beyond the game, NFL 100 was the only good commercial the halftime show was lackluster.
damn, I actually was somewhat entertained during this game. the last 6 minutes were anti climactic but overall, a competitive game..
Maybe it's being a pitt fan and being witness to horrid CB play over the last few years but I was very impressed with the Rams CB's play on some of these outside passes.. Very physical play, great position, faced out like we've seen pitt guys do but actually not trailing the play so they could make plays on the ball.. I love watching good CB play, again, probably from being a pitt fan..
Rams O line sucked, that was disappointing. not a pats fan but their defensive game planning was perfect and of course they game planned against Donald perfectly as well.
It wasn't one for the ages but many, MANY Worse super bowl games than this one IMO.

Yep . A.D was double teamed out the butt . Which was exactly what the Pats knew they had to do .
Was just hoping for one time for him to clobber Brady .
AD has been double teamed virtually every snap this entire season. The Pats did nothing different to him. But they did do a good job keeping Brady clean. Didn't see that coming given LA's talent on the D line and the no names on the Pats O line. That was the difference in the game, along with the pressure NE got on Goff. He was totally ineffective.
