It’s not, really. We’ve played like garbage for the last 10 minutes. Stupid shots, stupid turnovers. Bad shots late in the shot clock.
Capel should have just let them keep trying to score instead of run clock. Or just attack the basket off the press.
Pitt Happens.
This could be an absolute death knell.
I don't even get it. It feels like we've mostly played well and answered their runs. We've obviously not played perfectly, but I don't know how much better we can even play.

We've made like ten shots tonight where I've said, "okay, THAT is the nail in the coffin."

And now we call a timeout to give Syracuse a chance to set something up.
When we were up big we had opportunities to make them pay after breaking the press, but didn't do it. We stupidly were firing 3's instead of attacking the rim.
And then we were taking shots 5 seconds into the shot clock when we should have been winding it down.
Honestly, I was kind of worried we might get big heads if we went into the break on a blowout win. Didn't want it to be THAT close, but hopefully we realize we need to get after it.

Perhaps read my comment again. That last 10 minutes was an embarrassing display of poor shots, turnovers and terrible clock management.
