This is the world we live in. Just curious, did you think Kenny Pickett quit on the team when he opted out of the bowl game?Yeah, I also hate quitting on your teammates.
Playing in the NIT would have zero affect on their draft status.

Bub? Most likely - he's Association bound.
Lowe? Thinking we'll be lucky and get a final year with him where Alliance 412 features him like they did with Blake this season.
Not negative, I have said since mid January, this team is as good as any team outside of the top maybe 8 in the country, you could see it building, and the lost to UNC this week proves it, againThe team couldn't care less about your negativity.
Yes.This is the world we live in. Just curious, did you think Kenny Pickett quit on the team when he opted out of the bowl game?
Haha. 100%. Of course Paco would be the one to throw a big hissy fit.The irony of Paco wanting to take his ball and go home after he thinks the players took their ball and went home I think is completely lost on him
Cmon, Pitino declined. Another team declined.
The team declined, not Capel
You have been negative throughout this thread by attacking both the players and Capel. Not negative, I have said since mid January, this team is as good as any team outside of the top maybe 8 in the country, you could see it building, and the lost to UNC this week proves it, again
Yeah, well, for this team, there is no horse. The horse is dead. It is over. They thought they were more suave than they were so they turned down Kristen Stewart and end up with nothing. If you get rejected by a 10, you don't have to settle for Kristen Stewart. You get back on the horse and better yourself so you can get that next 10!
I don't even know if the NIT is still real. I I couldn't find any of the games on TV a few years ago when I was looking for them. Was more difficult than finding wwf house show results in 1992.
Rats. Had the image in my mind of 16 year olds playing in (or with?) Mickey D’s balls.Good. NIT is for schools like Penn State. Butt crack tournament. Time to focus on next season.
Never attacked any players, ever, on any posts. You have been negative throughout this thread by attacking both the players and Capel.
Is that a serious question? This is the world we live in. Just curious, did you think Kenny Pickett quit on the team when he opted out of the bowl game?
If playing in the NIT keeps you from having success in the portal, then your staff has issues.Another factor for the school, not necessarily the players, is that the attendance for an NIT game at The Pete would have probably been abysmal, as it was the last time we played in the NIT. So why go through that when you can get to work on the portal? It's more important to get ready for next year than to play in some exhibitions, which is what the NIT is.
You’re loud wrongHe shouldn't allowed it to be put up for a vote. And neither should have Heather.
The stupidest thing is to vote on something immediately after the disappointment of not getting in, when emotions are so high.
Never attacked any players, ever, on any posts.
Not to pile on but the no vote is a reflection of the Coach. His arrogance, sorta like ending "The City Game", IMHO
Agreed, and it is a reflection of his leadership that this team does not enjoy the experience of preparing and playing together. make no mistake these kids will be in a gym playing, just not with the Coaches in a "team" building way.
'"student-athletes"... 🤣
I mean I agree with you, but why quit on an opportunity to play together and continue to get better? The selection committee couldn't care less about your program.
Actually, this is a flat out lie. Those are all stretches..., are you 13 years old?You have been negative throughout this thread by attacking both the players
I think that you just piled on!Not to pile on but the no vote is a reflection of the Coach. His arrogance, sorta like ending "The City Game", IMHO
With you leaving the Progra—no season tickets, no donations—sounds like quitting to me. Put your name in the fan portal.Yes.
It is sort of the very definition of quitting on the team.
As I said before, competitors want to play whether it is in front on no one or 10K.
I hate the message it sends.
I quit because I didn't get what I think I deserved is not an attitude to be applauded.
If playing in the NIT keeps you from having success in the portal, then your staff has issues.
You are citing 1992 as if that’s relevant to the current landscape of college sports? No. It should not be.
They voted against going in 1992. School forced them to go.
He is the highest rated NBA prospect of any current college freshman who is projected to come back per nbadraft.net
I showed your posts. How can you deny it?Actually, this is a flat out lie. Those are all stretches..., are you 13 years old?
They are losers then. I definitely will not be directing any donations or NIL gifts to hoops.
I'll seriously rethink renewing season tickets too.
Haha, they are all directed at HCJC that is how, he is not my idea of a good Coach, that's all, he is doing fine so it does not matter, but I would prefer a different college type personaI showed your posts. How can you deny it?
Follow the leader, no?The irony of Paco wanting to take his ball and go home after he thinks the players took their ball and went home I think is completely lost on him
Capel didn't vote. You can't blame him. The players voted. You can ONLY blame them. And you did. The last post I cited you called them quitters.Haha, they are all directed at HCJC that is how, he is not my idea of a good Coach, that's all, he is doing fine so it does not matter, but I would prefer a different college type persona
Just a few thoughts:With you leaving the Progra—no season tickets, no donations—sounds like quitting to me. Put your name in the fan portal.
Yes. I can’t stand people quitting on their teams when there’s a bowl game left. Doesn’t make them wrong, but I hate it. I want to see people finish what they started. This is the world we live in. Just curious, did you think Kenny Pickett quit on the team when he opted out of the bowl game?
Sorry, no where is it written anyone voted. Look it up. From the PGThe players voted.
The funny thing is that college sports in the 1930s were a lot more similar to the current situation in college athletics than people realize.Paco still thinks it’s 1943 apparently.
It’s a different world with the Transfer Portal and NIL.Yeah, I also hate quitting on your teammates.
Playing in the NIT would have zero affect on their draft status.
