The ACC made a mistake

They should've used the volleyball model of playing two games against each opponent on weekends. There are just way too many moving pieces in this standard scheduling format.

IMO they should just scratch the rest of the schedule and implement something more agile for the rest of the year or things aren't going to get any better. Pitt was forced to move up their game against Syracuse, and now our next game, 10 days later, is again Syracuse.

I disagree. That's bush league mid-major stuff. I'd rather play Syracuse 10 days apart at different venues than back to back days at the same venue.

I think it would have been better to just set the ACC schedule at 18 games and try to let teams get in a few more OOC games before the covid Christmas bump hit and screwed up the conference schedule.

Is it less goofy than FSU being 1-1 while Miami is 1-5?

They should just throw out the schedule and match up whatever teams are healthy each week. Tell every school to prepare to host games each weekend.
