I do not think that franklin is a good recruiter at all. What players have committed to penn state because of franklin? I'm thinking a very small number. Most of their recruits go there because they see the 90,000+ at home game. If you switched Pat Narduzzi and franklin, I bet the penn state football program would have at least the same number of wins, if not more. If franklin was coaching Pitt, they'd have less.

Besides Mueller, Dorin and Dunlap, no one on the fan likes Pitt. They all hate us over PSU which is asinine bc they shouldn't even have a program to begin with.

Not really. Penn State's recruiting ranking is usually (always?) a lot closer to that of Clemson and OSU than to Pitt's classes, which are often not even in the top 30. Penn State's attendance is much closer (or better?) than those top programs. I bet their coaching salaries are closer to the top schools than they are to Pitt's coaching salaries.

I agree on recruiting rankings but PSU wouldn’t belong the same field as Clemson

These guys always crap on the location unless its warm weather. They'll do the same of a non-warm weather city for the Super Bowl.

Most on this forum crapped on the bowl/location, too. It was Paul Alexander and he wasn’t crapping on Pitt or the game.
