There are rumblings that Dan Snyder wants Tomlin.
1) Would You Trade Him to the Redskins?
2) If so, what is your asking price?
3) Who would you go after if you trade him?

he goes but only if he takes Ben's caddie, aka our current OC, with him.. Ben's caddie made me laugh by the way. heard that this morning on radio, colin dunlap gets credit for that one..

Do you go with Munchak or clean house and start all over? Munchak might keep some of the old assistants. New GM and all.
They would need to clean house along the lines of when they went from Noll to Cowher. Sadly I can see Art II making the new HC keep Tom Bradley as DB coach.

This is just my opinion, but they wouldn’t hire Munchak. He’s Russ Grimm with head coaching experience, and I don’t think the coaching experience would’ve swayed Rooney away from hiring Tomlin in 2007.

They’d most likely go the same route they've taken with every other coaching hire since 1969, a young, first-time head coach that was previously a coordinator.

They aren’t going to hire a 65 year old DB coach who wasn’t good enough for a college HC job.

I wouldn't mind a young and budding offensive coordinator, just because he'd be working with a new quarterback - be it Rudolph or a draft pick we'd have to make. I think Munchak would only make sense if Ben still had many years left in him.

Look at the last 7-8 year. This team had a lot of talent. Were there holes? Yes, but when you have a franchise QB, RB and WR and you win 3 playoff games, that is some serious underachieving.

It is time for a house cleaning from Colbert on down. Colbert totally mangled the Brown situation and things have gone downhill since.

I like tomlin. I think he’s done a good job for the most part. However hiring and keeping butler Bradley and now fitchner have been awful hires.

He has to correct this mistakes

I have not been a season tx holder for 8 years now so get to watch on my TV and noticed Tomlin talking to Ben on the sideline about play calling.....come on man! He is supposed to be in charge!

Why is it funny?

I have NEVER noticed a coach consulting with a player as I did on Sunday. Tomlin has been gifted a great QB and now that ship has sailed. TIme to make a change. Yes I know he does not call the plays but he is still in charge!

Tomlin does not call the plays. You'd think a big fan such as yourself would know that.

Anyone in favor of keeping him at this point doesn't really care about winning; they are simply afraid of change. Three playoff wins (one of which was given to us) in the last eight seasons? Sorry, not good enough. If that's what we got with a HOF quarterback, the best WR in the league, one of the best offensive lines in the league, and one of the best running backs in the game, what do people think we're going to get after that's all gone? The moment we settle for Tomlin without Ben is the moment we become the Buffalo Bills.

How did he mangle the Brown situation?

When Buffalo offered their 1st in exchange for Brown and our 1st right there they should have told Brown take it or leave it. That was the best offer they received and that is where it should have ended. They should not have allowed Brown to dictate terms. If Brown decided he didn't want to go, then they should have kept him. At the point that he went nuts (which he did) suspend him, conduct detrimental to the team. This way they could have gotten out of the dead money hit they are in now.

I’m not sure this is fair. Any team trading for Brown knew they had to negotiate with him on a contract extension. So obviously some dialogue was required. You can rip on Colbert for some things, but I’d say he has been pretty damn good at knowing when to walk away from players.

I am not sure it was quite that simple. Keeping him to teach him a lesson sounds good, but the Steelers aren't in the lesson teaching game, they need to win football games. Brown held a lot of the cards with his willingness to tweet and act crazy. I think that given all of those facts, what Colbert got from the Raiders was a steal.

Sorry but you are wrong. Brown was under contract. He could choose to show up, not be a distraction and get paid. If he became a distraction the team could suspend him and go after the signing bonus.

After they bust this season it's the perfect time to make a move, however if Ben is actually ready for a last hoorah then it will impact any move from Tomlin.

Brown had to be traded out of here though because Tomlin couldn't deal with the locker room chaos.
And we wouldn't have Devin Bush.

Who called the plays when Chuck Noll was the head coach?

I wouldn't trade Tomlin for anything. And every fan or local media guy who thinks it's best to part ways with Tomlin are nuts!.

The only thing that hurts Tomlin nowadays is basically the same thing that was hurting Narduzzi. Coach T needs to step out of his comfort zone and hire some real coordinators.

Teams that traded for that goof didn't need

I will go by what was reported by a few outlets. If it wasn't true then I am wrong, but I will go by the reports

He's too dumb to be a head coach...
