I am sure most of you know the story but for those of us in the hockey community, his story was one of incredible tragedy which evolved into a life of inspiration. Playing for Boston University at that time was like playing football at Alabama. His dream ended on his very first shift. It happened on a play I have seen hundreds of times.
Instead of disappearing he endured and did alot of good for his community. I encourage everyone to watch the ESPN documentary on his life... I will always be a BU hockey fan... RIP Travis!
